From now on, it seems that SK Telecom can be no longer be called as a team with a distinguished Terran line, but should change to being called as a team with a distinguished Protoss line. Although the Terran and Zerg rookies do not come out that often, Protoss rookies Paralyze and Sun have been displaying results beyond expectations. The two players who both fell into slumps after their debuts won in a crucial timing where their team needed to win against STX, protecting SK Telecom’s 1st place position and providing a great help to their team.
Q: Your thoughts on winning?
Paralyze: I earned my very first win of the season, so I’m really happy.
Sun: It’s great that I ended my 8 loss losing streak, but I lost too much during that time. It’s not a point in time to be proud about. After achieving more wins in the future, then I will be even happier.
Q: (To Sun) Recently out of the 10 games you played, you had a 1 win 9 losses record. Before today’s match started, did you have any worries?
Sun: I wasn’t too worried about my losing streak. I just thought that I had to win no matter what in order to let
Bisu hyung take the ace match.Q: (To Paralyze) Were you satisfied with how your game went today?
Paralyze:
Bisu hyung told me after my game that my Dragoons didn’t move around that well, and I felt that as well. BeSt hyung also pointed out that I could have ended the game in an easier way. Other than that, I think that my game generally went okay. [T/N: Haha, Bisu and BeSt happy to give crits anytime to their underlings, I mean, disciples!]Q: (To Paralyze) You won your first official PL victory, but after you won, what did your teammates say about it?
Paralyze: Our team was in a situation where we were behind in the set score by 0:2, but because I won, I reduced the disparity. After I won, the coaching staff along with
BeSt hyung and 
Hyuk hyung congratulated and praised me a lot.Q: (To Paralyze) Your first PL win was a PvP one.
Paralyze: I practiced for both PvP and PvZ, but I practiced a bit more on PvP. Practice was going well for me and I even had a build prepared beforehand, so I think those factors made me able to win my first official PvP game. I’m really happy about it.
Q: (To Sun) You played a long, drawn out game. When were you sure that you had won?
Sun: I wasn’t sure if I would be able to win until the end. I thought that I was winning the center engagement battles, but my remaining troops were all caught by
Calm’s attack. But then after that when I went over to Calm’s base, his larva weren’t being used for anything, so then from there I knew that I had won.Q: (To Sun) Your endless harassment attacks stood out on Neo Aztec.
Sun: In the beginning when I lost both my first Corsairs and Dark Templars, I also lost the timing to push out. But as time passed on, my situation became more difficult, so I thought that doing harassment was my last option left, but the effects of doing it worked out well. [T/N: Jangbi finally might have a mass psi storm successor here…]
Q: (To Sun) Were your excellent harassment attacks influenced a lot by your team senior, PvZ specialist
Bisu?Sun: To be compared with
Bisu hyung is a huge honor and makes me feel really thankful. However, Bisu hyung doesn’t really seem to be focusing on harassment-oriented play nowadays. It seems like Bisu hyung doesn’t harass as much as I do. To me, I think that I have my own style. [T/N: ….Or maybe you’re really Bisu’s successor instead!]Q: Your next match is against Hwaseung OZ.
Paralyze: I’m not sure if I’ll get another chance to be sent out, but if I do, I definitely want to win again. If I get sent out, I want to try playing PvZ.
Sun: I don’t know if I’ll be sent out again, but if I’m given another chance, I will do my best to be able to win again. I have confidence against all the race matchups. [T/N: Except PvP. Remember what you said in that one interview, Sun? You hate PvP.]
Q: Any last words you want to say?
Paralyze: I was sent out in Proleague three times, but I hadn’t been able to tell my parents that I’ve been participating in it lately. But then I heard from my parents that they’ve been compiling together my games and watching all of them. On Parents Day I didn’t tell my parents that I was going to be sent out on our match against Samsung, and at that time, I got into a fight with them so I felt sorry towards them. They probably watched today’s match as well, and since I won it feels good. After the entry list was made,
BeSt hyung helped me a lot with practice and also gave me a lot of advice, so I’m really thankful to him.Sun: During our match against Woongjin Stars in Round 3, 100 days had passed since my debut, so fans prepared a present for me. A few days ago it had been 200 days that passed since my debut, but during those 100 days I lost 7 times, so I felt sorry to everyone. I was at 9 wins, and since I finally achieved 10 wins I think that it’s a huge relief. I think from now on, the mental burden and strain on me will decrease, and I’ll be able to play my games more comfortably. I felt really sorry towards the manager and the coaches, but from now on I’ll do my best to win more and to show even better performances in the future.

SK Telecom’s Bisu participated as his team’s ace player, defending his team’s 1st place position and the most-wins king title in one step with huge success. From the time that he prepared for Proleague to now with his games going well, Bisu said, “I’m not working hard alone by myself; thanks to my team working together as one and helping me out, the fruits of our labor are coming out now.” Bisu, who also shivered in excitement from seeing his junior Protoss teammates play like him, expressed his wishes, “Next time if the chance arises, BeSt will also win, and if our four Protosses led our team to victory, that would be great.”
Q: You protected your team’s 1st place ranking by scoring 2 wins, which was a huge achievement. Your thoughts on winning?
A: At first we were behind by 0:2 and were in danger, but the junior players fought well, so I was given another chance. It’s been a while since the last time I won the ace match and the team also won, and since I won I’m really happy about that.
Q: By earning 2 wins today, you established the title of the most wins record at 53 wins.
A: It’s a winning record that I never would of thought of being able to do at the start of the season. I thought that I would just go over 30 wins, but contrary to my expectations, starting from the off-season, things started going well. It seems like it’s a record that came out beyond what I could ever think of. There are still other matches remaining, so I will try even harder to put out an even better record.
Q: You prevented
Classic and Bogus from sniping you and achieved victory. Where do you think the strength to block their strategies came from?A: I didn’t really prepare to defend against their strategies or anything like that; I was in advantageous situations.
Classic had a bachanic (bio + mechanic) army, but he didn’t have that many units, so I remember thinking that I should win even by using Dragoons against him. I was in a really advantageous position from the start, so I won without any problems. During the ace match with Bogus, after I destroyed all of his tanks and Marines through micro, and from thereafter it seemed like I was able to defend against his Dropships and other units easily. My build order was also advantageous, so things went well towards my way and I was able to win easily.Q: You defeated two Terrans.
A: I wanted to face Terrans today. I had confidence in my builds. Although I practiced for all three matchups, I honestly wanted to play PvT.
Q: Only SK Telecom’s Protoss players won today. As the Protoss player with the most seniority, your feelings on their victories?
A: I’m amazed.
Paralyze was in a disappointing situation where he didn’t have 1 win yet, but he finally did it. While I was watching his game, I shook a lot and was nervous. It seemed that Paralyze was really nervous, so his Dragoon movements were stiff and his Dragoon control wasn’t that good (laughs). If he tries even harder from now on, I think that he’ll improve and get better. Sun also did well (laughs).Q:
Sun’s constant harassment was like watching a game of yours from the past.A: Even I don’t think that I harass as much as
Sun did (laughs). Overall, it felt like I was watching my past self playing. By winning today, it seems like Sun has learned and come to understand how to win again. That’s why I think he’ll do even better in the future. BeSt didn’t get a chance to participate today, but if the chance arises, then it would be great to win together as 4 Protosses.Q: It seems that you are particularly enthusiastic about practicing for Proleague nowadays.
A: I’ve never been able to win the title of most-wins king, so I would like to try winning it for once. I also have too painful memories from last year, so it would be great if our team kept on going to Gwangahnri in 1st place nonstop. I want to have a lot of time to prepare. Even if it’s because of those reasons, I think that I have to keep on winning no matter what.
Q: You are currently running unrivaled in the most-wins king competition.
A: I’m nervous in every match. Since there are still some matches remaining, I’m not able to not fuss over things too much. I have to win in all of the remaining matches so that I can be able to go out being really ahead. [T/N: I can’t tell if this paranoia is hurting or helping Bisu… But since he’s been on a tear recently, looks like it’s been helping and keeping him on his toes!]
Q: Your recent hairstyle change stands out to the eye. [T/N: Wtf is this question-, suddenly outta nowhere]
A: The hairstylist cut it too short. At that time, I thought that my hair was really short and was embarrassed by it, but contrary to expectations, it seems refreshing. [T/N: Bisu's hairstyle kinda looks like Sun’s hairstyle now… I got so confused and thought he was Sun when I first saw Bisu with his new hairstyle.]
Q: Your next match is against Hwaseung OZ. Is there a particular player you want to play against?
A: I don’t have a problem with facing anyone on there. Because they’re a strong Zerg team, for me who has confidence in PvZ, they’re a team that suits my strength. If I just prepare well and practice hard, then I think I’ll be able to win. There are also plenty of players on my team who are able to beat
Jaedong, so I don’t really have that many worries.Q: Any last words you want to say?
A: I used a special build in today’s ace match, and it was a build created by Coach
iloveoov. It had been never used in a broadcasted match before. But Coach Doctor.K adjusted it well so that it could be used today. The two of them did their best to help me out as if they were preparing for their own games, so I was able to win thanks to their help. Also before the match started today, Park Wan Gyu [T/N: A famous Korean celebrity rocker] came and visited the game stadium for a moment to support me and cheer me on. It felt like I received Park Wan Gyu who truly loves eSports’s strength and was able to win today thanks to his support, so I’m really thankful to him.
