On the stream in soulkey vs leta, people were talking about using the floating rax in order to cover up tanks instead of making them float on some random spot on the map. I thought it was a pretty good idea and so does flash, I guess.

Easy. Just use FBHvZ. I think he usually goes for a standard SKTerran build with a transition into BCs. Let that sink in...because you can't broodlingifize BCs, this is a BO win! :D

Leta gave Soulkey no opportunity to go Queens anyways, Soulkey knew he had to break those contains as soon as possible, so he judged that he had no time to go for Queens. Although maybe it could've been better for Soulkey to get queens anyways.. Leta's aggressive contain style+vessel irradiate was a refreshing alternative than the normal turtling that usually occurs in lategame mech..
I think Fantasy's bio problem lies with dark swarm or hive tech in general, if he could just kill the zerg before they reach hive, it could solve his problem.
This is just Fanta's bio problem anyway. Not a general terran problem. :D
Leta in his interview said that the solution was so simple he almost wondered why he made practice harder than he had to. From what I can garner, it looks like the best solution to queens is to not let the Zerg get queens at all.

Even with 4 queens, you can devastate a tank line. IDK, I feel that with the different level of mechanics among players, their mechanics wouldn't matter in this. Progamers in general, not just top progamers, can do this on a decent day.
edit: the main thing is that tanks overfire in BW and so spawnbroodling = ALL tanks shoot and it blows up all the tanks nearby too. This is different from charging in head front because the ones in the back don't shoot if the ones in the front kill the units. Using broodlings makes them all fire and you can start your charge. After that tanks will likely overfire on possibly the units leading the charge and if you broodling more they could over fire on the new broodlings too.

Mech is a standard option on the majority of maps. Terrans have figured out how to do it properly. Another popular option is opening bio and then transitioning into mech (one example I saw once: 14CC into quick 4rax, push with 4rax 2fac tank 1port vessel, then transition out of rax adding more facs)
Putting on a serious hat for a second tho, imagine how cool it would be if a terran made a bunch of wraiths in the mid game and hunted the queens down before they could broodling. That'd be soooo cool.

Except that since BW tournaments are played on LAN. Pro players practice on LAN most of the time. Let's say 90% of the time - the rest is random games vs random people on various b.net servers. There's nothing that can make the players update the version of their game... except KeSPA. And last time, with the 1.5.3-1.6.0 patch (ther were some slowdowns with 1.6.0, which 1.6.1 fixed), KeSPA simply ignored the "faulty" patch as far I as can remember. At this point issuing such a patch is like pissing against the wind: the only person that the piss is going to land on is yourself.

I don’t think I can possibly use Queens to shoot down his bionic units, but since many fans are wishing for that I will leave that option open. If anyone out there is curious about that play, I think it’d be a good idea for everyone to come out and see it for themselves.

So who's going to make the next cartoon about how to beat Queens? Flash - Just do bio+valk pushes before Mutas spawn then they are helpless... Or power vulture after 5 rax +1 pushes...GiGi
I always loved fantasy as my fav terran, he has the cooles play style. Valks, Wraiths, Goliaths, awesome vulture raids, so good. Simply cool units+ positioning. Looks very terran like. (not sending out small groups of Humns to get slaughtered by aliens..)

Well, Hyuk didn't really have much of an army, it was pure hydra with a few queens. Had Hyuk used a hydra/lurker strat, or even added lings earlier on in the game, I would say Hyuk would definitely have won. Also, It was either 4 base to 4 base. If a zerg is in that position, it is probable that they will lose.
the question is now, what would zergs need to do for queen-vs-mech-play to survive?
That was more about hyuk being hyuk than fantasy dealing with queens. Should it have been Soulkey for example he wouldn't have floated them all in 1 clumped group knowing fantasy is waiting with a few EMPs.
What would zergs do to survive? micro queens in smaller groups so you don't lose all of them to a single EMP, prepare for Vultures when you play fantasy (I mean come on, the guy only knows how to use 1 unit well, and hyuk comes seemingly unprepared), get better overlord coverage so you don't drop 40 hydras to mines walking around, and if you did still manage to get your queens EMP'd, don't just walk 100 supply into a tank wall just to watch the nice splat. Hyuk is just bad.
