Wonder if there's any truth to the rumours about conflicts within MBC. It's Light. He doesn't get into conflicts. MBC needs money that's why they have to sell. That doesnt sound right. There is something fishy about the transfer. Think about it. If MBC needs to save money and Light really wants to stay in MBC, surely there is a deal negotiable, eg decrease of bonuses or dividends. But a sudden decision to part ways, suggests someting more like a backhand deal between private interests within the teams, a conflict like in the ForGG scenario, or illegal activites requiring muddying of waters Don't be silly. Renegotiating a contract means you still have to pay him even if it's half the sum. Now they not only don't have to pay his salary/bonuses at all, they get a transfer fee in return from Woongjin. MBC has a track record of selling their best players to richer teams. If the money's right, they will sell regardless of how important the player is to the team.

Who is the fourth individual? Btw, thezerg used to be very promising before transferring to SKT from MBC where he end up being the worst SKT Zerg in history. Light and Sea are on the same paycheck, at least in terms of basic salary. MBC were rumored to be trying to offload either Light or Sea during the off-season.
4th person is thezerg yes.

What can you do when your players are slumping ? I mean look at Leta in CJ except for a win against PerfectMan , he hasn't won a game since forever ... CJ still owns , because they are overstacked with talent , but players like Leta and Skyhigh aren't showing their full potential . Skyhigh used to be invincible in TvT . When Iris left for Ace looked like his TvT went downhill from there .

Is MBC the vendor team or something??? All they do is sell their best players and then wonder why they can't do shit in proleague!
July Bisu Light they deport coach park to SKT1 pusan as a coach (lol at least jaehoon is benefiting from this)
pretty soon Sea is gonna get thrown onto a team like KT or SKT and then MBC is gonna have jaehoon to carry them, eventually turning into the next eStro and dying

Hyun says he just returned from the noraebang (karaoke) with his 5-yr noraebang buddy, Light. Saint and Tyson went along too. They went there to release stress. Today is the last night of Light's stay at MBC house.
+ Show Spoiler +
So sad... I feel bad for the players.

MBC Heroes 06 has the sickest lineup ever: Bisu, Sea, Light, Pusan, July plus Coach Ha. =(
Good Luck to Light..

RuBy gonna destroy the sc world when he's back in MBC! kekekeke and Dream.t)check gonna pwn!!

God I feel SO SO SO SO SO SO BAD for laughing but its so ridiculously accurate.
I think the main reason, as previously said, is for the Money. The MBC team is sponsored by the same corporation that sponsors the MSL, and we all know that the MSL group hasn't been doing too great. When them fighting Blizzard was huge news, the MBC game specifically said they were operating with no/negative profits.
The fact that MBC has to have legal problems with Blizzard, haven't been winning Proleague/Starleagues probably contribute very largely to the reason why Light was sold off for money. They probably are losing too much money, and needed some quick cash. Selling off light is an obvious step in solving said problem.
As for Woonjin, I feel really really like that this is their do-or-die moment. It seems that this season, the CEOs are like "ok team, buy whatever and whoever you want, just win. Win the proleauge." or something like that. The rate theyve been aquiring other players is simply rediculous. Hopefully, all their aquisitions are worth something, and they don't just die off...

Meh, I think Light could have moved onto a better team personally; from a group perspective, they don't really gain much depth as I doubt the team really had much trouble with their vZ match-ups to begin with given that they have two top tier Zerg players and free's pretty good at any match-up when he isn't slumping.
Honestly, if Light wants/needs to become a much better player than he already is, he needs to move onto a team that has a solid Protoss line-up in order to fix that disastrous TvP of his: T1, KT, Khan, or STX would have really complemented Light really well, Woongjin doesn't really help Light out other than solidify his already S-Class TvZ capabilities.
Kind of sad to see MBC broken down further and further; good luck to Sea, Tyson and Jaehoon to carry the team now.

light looks ridiculous in that stars jacket ~_~

The team also has Flying and Guemchi who have their moments. All three are statistically strongest in PvT. I wouldn't rate KT above Woongjin really, and the other teams mostly just have a high profile protoss ace.
Edit: Hite might have been a good choice though. Snow used to specialize in that matchup and Movie is on a roll at the moment.

Jaehoon and Tyson have good PvT, practice partners are not an issue.
The only coach who for certain can turn around that TvP of Light's is Oov. Perhaps Stars will sell Light to SKT (like they did Kwanro) when they don't win the Proleague. Unlikely but possible.

Well, there is Oz Protoss, SKT Zerg and Woongjin Terran. I think WJ is trying to do something about that.
It was likely the primary reason why they purchased Really, who contributed a less than 50% winning rate to the team.
For the record, Really hit 50% overall rate before Estro disbanded. He currently stands at 47.27%.
|
Really is also the only one winning games for the team right now, though.

I'm not too worried about MBCGame (Tragic) HERO. As long as they have old-reliable Sea, I'm sure they can rally to avoid the dreaded second last place position.

Its totally fine for me as long as I can still watch him play. Pretty surprising though. It seems to me like he was in MBC like forever

just amazed by this news :s
now woongjin zergs are going to slump hard after being owned game after game by light
btw he looks so bad in that uniform
|
It can't be described how wrong Light looks in that woongjin uniform
Well now that woongjin got rid of free and added Light, I can truly root against them now.
