Anyone can sign up to view the OGN stream online for free anyway. The main problem for most people is you can't watch it because there's so much buffering (or that's my experience). Dunno about MBC. Also Hite Entus is a team anyway, so they probably don't care quite as much about restreams.

I also have BByong on FPL! On February 16 2011 21:15 Lonyo wrote: Also Hite Entus is a team anyway, so they probably don't care quite as much about restreams. Entus's parent company owns OGN, I believe.

To be fair, it's a win-win situation. They can reach a wider audience with their programmes and advertisements and we get amazing Korean Broodwar games that we couldn't hope to see otherwise (made possible by the amazing work of streamers ofc). They might be feeling differently about it if they had premium content in English and restreaming was cutting into their business.

Yes, to those who read the Entus_Progaming twitter, I asked them to do this. Why? 1. I always wanted to thank the streamers at TL for awesome streams, but all I could do was say 'Thanks' at the end of the stream. To me, this wasn't enough. The streams helped me improve my translation skills, both in BW and real life situations. 2. I wanted to spread the name 'Teamliquid' around the globe a little more. TL deserves more than it does at the moment. Don't get me wrong. They know TL exists, and they know that the world is watching. However, they don't think that it's nearly important at the moment. In the end, this was something that I wanted to do when I go to Korea in the near future. However, seeing that Hite Entus interacts with their fans a lot (Koreans and Foreigners), I gave it a try. Thanks to Entus_Progaming/seanstyle for actually granting my request!
