Alright. Thanks to MoooN, I have been able to test and upload the German sounds. Here are the links for the German sounds and the SoundUtility:

Instructions:
1. Download both files.
2. Use the SoundUtility to extract your current sounds to a folder called Sound. (This is done auto-matically)
3. If you wish to access your original sounds, make sure you backup the Sound folder which was created with the utility. Either re-name it or move it into another folder, both work.
4. Extract the .rar file and move the Sound contained in it to your StarCraft directory.
Use winrar to extract the .rar file. PM if you have different languages! This is really interesting stuff. ^^
Edit: Sorry, I forgot about the BWSoundUtility. The majority of you will need to download and use that since it extracts Brood War sounds as well as vanilla SC.

TO change languajes, I think you only have to change the Storm.dll ;p

you don't have to extract your own soundfiles. just extract the german soundpack to your starcraft folder.
if you want to have your original sounds just rename the german soundfolder "sound" to "sounds" or so.

KK Whenever I'm playing T I'll use my german version of BW from now on :D Just made a copy of my old bw :D haha marines rock -.-!

sorry for bump this old thread, but many years have passed, and the old problems of "web space" are solved... The community has growth and exist many version of scbw in different languages.
For many times i think in the possibility of have a "multicultural and globalized version of starcraft, with sounds of units in many languages. After all, the Terrans (from a sci-fi point of view) could speak in many languages, thinking in different colonies in the space from different ancient "terrestrian" countries and cultures.
Imagine marines speaking english (or maybe latin spanish XD ), tanks with german voices, polish valkyries, korean medics, chinese SCV, would be just AWESOME =).
Maybe the forum members of different countries could upload their sounds folders, for create this "multicultural terran army", and then i would upload the entire file =)
