No reason to be fatalistic about it though. There's been a lot of stories of this kind lately, but when the best known player to leave is Guemchi, it doesn't seem like a terrible loss. Plus, this is the off-season. I imagine there are a lot of retirements and changeovers in an ordinary off-season, but we don't hang as much importance on them usually. Things aren't looking great, but it looks like the main players involved aren't really deterred—from our perspective, at least. The worst thing thus far is the news about eSTRO, but that isn't unprecedented either. The Stars were just as close to disbanding a couple of years ago, but they found a new sponsor. | ||
