Iris and Peace have applied to the August Airforce Ace Recruitment. If I'm reading this article correctly, it looks like they are the only two to apply. Once they pass the initial acceptance, and if they pass the physical, interview, and the practice test, they'll be able to join the Airforce on October 25th. Whether or not they'll be accepted will be announced on September 16th.
Sheis finishes his military service: returns to STX as the Terran coach.
The draft happened, and not surprisingly, only 18 people were drafted into progame teams this season. Why is this not surprising is because many teams have been cutting off a large number of B team members the past few months.
Hite gets two new Zergs and a Protoss. The coach mentioned how they have very little Zergs and would like to train them like practice partners and after they get better, play them in real matches.
Estro's new Protoss
Oz's new Terrans. The Terran on the left, Kim Ji Hoon, was ranked #1 in the evaluations. He says that he likes to use "tricky/cheesy" plays and likes to play freely.
Woongjin picked up two Protoss and a Terran. The Protoss players were ranked 4th and 8th in the evaluations. Zero was also present at the draft.
CJ's new Protoss and Terran. Both of them played in broadcast matches before in 2009.
MBC's new Protoss.
SKT picked up a new Protoss and a Terran.

Also, to explain the Samsung draft, apparently all the 11 progame teams (minus ACE) participated in a soccer/football tourney in the offseason. Apparently, a team who lost a match had to pay around 200000 won (about $200) to fund a pizza outing afterward.. Samsung ended up shelling out 1 million won, about $1000, for pizza (I seriously hope I have an extra 0 somewhere. This is pathetic, KHAN.) KHAN also lost 8:2 to Woongjin after being even after the first half (?) They missed three shots in the second half of a game against Hite following a first half that ended 6:6.

There's three things I remember about Sheis. Awesome TvZ, getting like 100 supply worth of units killed by Lucifer's mine drags, and getting nuke rushed by FBH.
At least he might be able to produce a second Hwasin, STX really does need a good terran to fill the void.

If the teams aren't recruiting as much I guess even the proteam sponsors see the writing on the wall and are winding down Brood War. Either that or the pool of amateurs with high hopes are fading away due to similar reasons.
Iris probably the sure winner to join ACE - it'll be nice to see him play there, too.
CJ's new draftees are best-dressed, the hat really helps. The new MBC Protoss is so much taller than the coach, and that coach isn't short!
Best learning how to dance - if he had the time, I would so do it if I were him. SKT's players preparing girl group dances for their fans...I wonder if they'll go all the way like (Lecaf) Oz and dress the part too? Lol.
More evidence of Woongjin/WeMade/CJ making good connections together? The more isolated teams (SKT?!?) could be at a disadvantage if they don't develop such relationships!
GSL is going to be huge - 2k applicants, including 100 flying in. The first one will probably get a lot of viewers due to novelty and hype. I hope/wonder if it can be sustained? Go Liquid`!

Yeah when you see good looking progamers like bisu or jaedong, you don't think of them as nerds who play video games all day. But with most of these guys their looks just scream "nerd" to me.
