Remember these are SKT fanboys we are talking about here. Just let them think that 7 practice partners = the world.

From the interview:
Not only are they helping with practice over BattleNet, Samsung and eSTRO players even moved in to the STX house to practice with them.

In particular, help from Samsung’s dual Protosses Stork-Jangbi will be very useful to helping STX preparing for SKT’s dual Protosses Bisu-Best.

Only 7 players moved in with STX. The others also helped over bnet. Stork is specifically not one of the players who moved in, but is still mentioned as being very helpful, so it's not just 7 players helping.

And while 3 other teams aren't the world, given that there's only 12 active teams (and that's including ace, which is sort of different), 3 teams + stx is already 1/3rd of the proleague world. I was actually pretty surprised that the 3 teams would go so far to help stx beat skt. I really wonder what the politics/relationships are like behind the scenes. Or how much of an incentive stx paid out to arrange this.

Aren't estro and khan the teams who helped out stx a lot???? Thats 2+1 = 3, which is 1/4 of the active team isn't it???

Or skt fans can't do math XP

i like how you go through all these lengths to show that SKT is better than them instead of just saying "hey we are in the finals and they are not. we beat wemade, cj, and stx to get there"

I don't doubt you would've done something similar if STX had won this round.

what do you mean similar? go around to each thread about SKT1 (there was only 1 actually) and bump it with a "HAH YOU GUYS LOST!" (which I wouldnt) or not properly point out my own team's successes when talking about their triumphs (which I was just pointing out that zona was talking about being better than 1/3 of the progaming world with this victory, when really they're better than 5/6 of it now and no one can really dispute that at all)?

Lol as always khan steps in to stop SKT.

apparently KHAN and eSTRO sucks :> ^^

sad for STX though, 2 times ace chokes.. ahh such a good lineup, so poor clutch player choices.

STX had a lineup of a mediocre cuteangel who was performing rather well recently, and a noobfest of slumping A-class players, with the help of two of the worst teams in the game

they took both series to the ace match, and i'd say they did better than expected

Well it seems to be turning into an "us vs them" argument, which is always unproductive - but you're misrepresenting things. I don't know why you're so sensitive about any criticism about your team, but I haven't been intentionally trying to pick a fight with STX fans: I haven't posted at all in the short (and now short-lived) STX hype thread, and most of these other threads are ones involve news about how an SKT competitor is preparing for their matches which is something I wish to discuss. I did make a mistake above as to 2 teams helping, not 3 - but your accusation that I'm shitting on STX threads is entirely unfounded, feel free to retract it.

And just in case you're going to use my poke-fun thread as evidence, the reason it exists is because when I was putting together the SKT hype thread I searched for the old hype threads to consider the best aspects of what they included when writing my own, I found that particular CuteAngel pic, and felt compelled to use it for something. Realizing no STX fan had stepped up to write anything while every other playoff team had their own thread and using that pic as a starting point, things came together pretty easily after that.

STX didn't manage to hang on to victory after the defeat of Bisu and Best in day 2, they probably thought that they have already won.

Key match up I think is between Canata and CuteAngel, but Canata just out played his opponent, and Kal's duo shuttle + reaver sacrifice in the Ace match is just random, especially after gaining an advantage and knowing Fantasy's well prepared already...
