Excellent choices overall ^__^. Great post. Although everyone knows that Savior vs Iris game 5 is the greatest game of all time despite hindsight.
Some of the ZvZs there are pretty iffy and crappy too. Zero vs Hyuk, RoRo vs JD and Type B vs Zero were crappy games despite the strategies used. Replace them with games like Flash vs Jaedong on Loki II, and Flash vs Bisu on Blue Storm, and Boxer vs Oov on Requiem. Hell, Jaedong vs Bisu on Blue storm and Savior vs Bisu on Katrina were very intense games and should be on this list too.

Thats Boxer vs Ruby or Hiya, dont remember which, but they were pretty sick strategies, and fantastic games.

Can't believe GoRush vs Nada gets absolutely no mention at all when there's at least 2 heroic moments in that game (Plague and Salvation Army). Many mentions of Bisu, but none of Bisu's ridiculous comeback game on Katrina vs Savior. Firebathero vs Jaedong makes it on there, but no mention of FBH's insane comeback vs Savior on Python?

Very nice list. However, I disagree with the order of some of them. I don't usually like to account for outside circumstances when ranking a game so I don't think best vs july should be in the top 10 nor bisu vs yellow in the top 20. Also, although stork vs jaedong and bisu vs iris were amazing, I don't think they deserve 1 and 2

i couldnt agree more with you =) its lacking so many old vods with insane micro battles, even tho it might be as good macro as players today, it was totally pimp back in the day!!!
You should really add a disclaimer that almost all these games are within the last two years. It was quite a shock opening up the top 10 spoiler and seeing some games that would have a tough time breaking into a comprehensive top 50 list.

definitely savior vs iris OSL semis (shinhan 3) set 5 on neo arkanoid. there is also boxer vs anytime on rush hour set 3 i think there is boxer vs anytime on ride of valkyries set 5 (these two are both in the shinhan 1 osl finals) Anytime vs Iloveoov set 3 on same osl anytime vs yellow in the ro16 of the osl (anytime fan for life!!)

Decent list, but you must hate Bisu a lot, only one of his wins near the top. What about him vs Stork on Loki? Anyway definitely gonna watch some of these games it seems we started watching sc about the same time.

I definitely agree with a lot of the games on the list one game that i particularly like (and is possibly one of my favorites) is Stork vs Bisu on Loki 2, set 5 of GOM S2 MSL
I'm drunk but the two best games ever were definitely Iris vs SaviOr Game 5 on Neo Arkanoid game 5 et GGplay vs Iris game 5 on python. Like, defilers, how can you not love that. I think that'd be a mistake. I actually like the fact that some of these games I've never seen before rather than some of the more "obvious" amazing games that a lot of people already know. I don't agree with many of his choices for best 50 but we shouldn't focus on that. Just look at it as a list of great entertaining games that you may not have seen.
Well maybe adding in a small description of the game like in the Recommended section. Like say "Insane action!" or something like "Great display of macro by the winner!" something like that.

Fairly unspectacular game, although it's always nice to see BoxeR. winning games against good players in the modern era. The thing that makes it possibly worth watching is the flair with which Boxer seals his victory at the very end, with a typical move.
One of those games that inspired the label "JvZ" back in the day. Opening 12 pool expand against a 9 pool, Jaedong is forced to cancel his natural hatchery twice. He spends the rest of the game fighting an uphill battle.

that was one of the first games of BW i ever watched live. at the time, i had no idea that i was witnessing one of the best games ever... wish i had started watching a little earlier so i could have appreciated it more.
It's very difficult to rank your favorite games in the most satisfying order, let alone agreeing with others. Like I have a collection of favorite games, but I can't really pick the one which is #1 simply because each delivers a different aspect of awesomeness.

And guys saying, "OMG add this!", "you should put this on", etc - we've got at least nine years of fantastic Starcraft and that's something like 10,000 games. There have to be at least 200-300 of those that could plausibly go on a Top 50 list. So thanks for sharing your thoughts, but let this guy's list alone. Make your own.
Nice list, but in my opinion, for that Bisu v. Stork game that's listed at #15, if it's going to be any Bisu vs. Stork game, I would have to say that Bisu vs Stork Game 5 of the MSL Finals (forgot the map) should be the one listed. One of the greatest PvPs I've ever seen.
Other people have made other awesome suggestions so I'm just going to leave it there.

gorush vs nada is amazing, and I can't believe that it didn't make it on. Really new games on this list, and I can't agree with all of them. They were good...just not amazing ^^

Taken into context inside of the game, it wasn't bad, all things considered. I would hafta place Jaedong vs fantasy 4 pool as a much stronger mindgame play though (don't remember what year even, game 1 of the series was on HBR, game with the 4 pool was on a blue tileset).

Yeah, I agree with this because I loved Iris vs GGPlay more being a GGplay fan. ^_^ I also can't believe Action vs Flash didn't make it anywhere despite the INSANE defiler usage, but hey, that's cuz BW's just so awesome top 50 ain't enough.
Bisu vs Iris best game I've ever witnessed..... i still can't get over the fact that Iris won in that situation.. classic example of never say die 10/5 stars
GGPlay vs Stork just made me miss a date with my gf! GRAWGH! I wish I could use mind control like stork did so I wont get in trouble. Or at least plague her so when her health is low I can go in for the killz.
Congrats on the list. Games are a lot of fun to watch. I think #47 Leta vs. Pure on HBR needs to be higher up, but you have a lot of good games on the list and in the right places!
I like your list, but it's so hard to satisfy everyone because of the crazy amount of epic games played You should just call it "50 Best VODs 2008-2010" instead, since most games are from 2008/09/10.
The only glaring omissions in this list that I can think of are Reach vs. Boxer on Neo Forbidden Zone and Bisu vs. Stork on Loki II. Both were finals matches that were pivotal - Reach vs. Boxer was an unstoppable force hitting an immovable object, and Stork vs. Bisu was the greatest PvP ever.
Well everybody is gonna say where is [game I liked here] but Savior vs Iris game 5 is definitely top 5 of all time. That game was epic and simply exhausting to watch, the VOD does not do it justice. In terms of modern SC skills, it wasn't top notch, but it was the semis with everything on the line and Iris just played so sick in that series. Savior's invincible reputation vs Iris's rising power, teammate vs teammate, etc etc.
With all the macro-style play nowadays, we'll probably never have a game like that again.
