Hey. A lot probably won't remember me, as I was before their time, but just wanted to give my condolences to team light. Along with the WGT ladder system, light was the highlight of my starcraft gaming time. I won't forget the good laughs I've had with future, hap, green, and fog.
It must have been 2003-2004 that I was involved in light before going inactive, so a bit before Xeris' epic installment with the team. Although, I did get to meet some of you. The (FML I forgot) person in the 2007 wcg pic is in fact me, lol. Ryan, as I suppose you've forgotten.
Gaming is a big part of kids childhood memories when growing up nowadays, and I'm glad I experienced SC through my elementary and highschool years. Now approaching mid twenties at age 22, done college, and working as a technologist engineer, its great to see people I've met online throughout the years still act on their memories like this. Unfortunately real life happens, and maturity and other responsibilities shift our interests elsewhere, for our own benefits.
I don't forget past experiences very easily, and WCG 07 was no exception. From the time we all went out to that mongolian village-like restaurant that made the food in front of us, to mitch making endless egg and protein shakes, to Xeris even barbequeing me a sick ass piece of pork. Endless games with future on that sand map (forget the name of it) and nostalgia. It was a good times. So many more memories with SC but the best of 'em were definitely with light.
Wont make this too long, but thanks to everyone. Nice to see some of you posting above. Thanks newblish for linking me this thread. I'm out, peace guys, you made it all worthwhile.
