Fck it. Last time then I will leave the subject alone for good. Maybe you are not the majority.

That scene where he takes a bit out of Coach Lee's hot dog did not help my suspisions or my slight homophobeia. Besides that, excellenlty made show. Its also funny how he is becoming the type of zerg player Idra hates. The one, in Idra's word,s with little management and relies on muta control. Idra vs HJ anyone? For the record, Hyungjun is straight. But to address your question, there's a thing in Korea called "aegyo" which basically means acting cute or acting like a child. Entertainers do it a lot on tv, in fact it's basically standard if you're in an idol group to be able to do aegyo because it's funny and the fangirls absolutely love it. Especially in a group, the youngest member is usually responsible for "aegyo". In SS501, Hyungjun is the youngest so you can say he's an expert at it. So he does all these things on tv because it's what the fans expect but also it's entertaining cos it makes pple around him warm up to him. Generally also, HJ is a very friendly person who wears his emotions on his sleeve. =) Another thing is that when he says "i love you", it's actually "saranghae" that's he's saying. It's not "love" as in I'm in love with you, more like "i like you". The gesture of making the heart shape and saying "saranghae" is also part of aegyo. This is very common. As for the hotdog scene, there was an allusion to some Japanese/Korean cartoon reference, it's like if HJ took a bite, he wld gain extra strength, something like that. I'm not too clear with that cos I didn't catch it, anyway, you saw how the hotdog glowed like a light-saber. That was the reference. Also, the joke was that the coach wasn't sure whether it was cooked or not so he was using HJ as his food-tester, that was why Shark and Ha Tae Ki were laughing. I hope with this explanation, everyone can focus on the discussion on the show instead. Thanks

Basically it's going to be U-kiss (HJ's brother's grp. I really can't stand some of their members.) vs MBCGame team and HJ vs his brother (I think). Part 1: Part 2:

"Aegi" = baby in Korean, hence aegyo. Very often when HJ talks to Shark, he refers to the rest of the MBCGame teammates as "aedul" (kids) cos with the exception of Pusan, HJ and Shark are the oldest.
