I'd be very pissed if I were an MBC progamer and this D- level celebrity walks in thinking he can do shit. Heck, even ret with all his talent and dedication couldn't make it (though he had other disadvantages, as in not being korean...), it'd be a fucking insult to every hardworking progamer if he gets a shot at the proleague A-team lineup(which I actually see happening in like one of the last episodes of this show) .
Sad for progamers, but ultimately very good for e-sports since it will probably garner some attention from previously non-SC fans.
I mean no offense to Ret and his fans, but how is this guy any different from all the foreign white kids who had money to blow and still have homes and their parents support if they fail? For the average korean kid, if you drop out of school to play games, you're immediately disowned. Asian countries have the most competitive schools in the world where the competitions for high paying job begins. Foreigners do have disadvantage of being in a foreign country but their price of failure isn't as big. First generation progamers in Korea played for almost no money because of the lack of sponsorship. I do respect all players who bust their ass to promote e-sports around the world but I feel that their fans are far too ignorant and xenocentric. This guy is, without a doubt, a joke but he's no worse than all the guys who take their hobby to new world, refusing to adapt and instead, accuse the locals of discrimination. This show is also nothing but pure entertainment. It's for SS501 fans, not ret, no Shark and not MBC.
Holy shit....This is almost as good as Jersey Shore. It's soooooooo funny. The guy has been playing SC for five years and all he knows is "Build a spawning pool and keep on making zerglings". Without speed! Does he actually WATCH professional SC? lmao. Sea was clearly not impressed. And I felt the embarassement he felt when they surprised him with the fact that they had his replays from the day before.

He's hardly very good but people in this are acting like he's d- or w/e, in the games vs ret at courage he seemed pretty decent to me though obviously not on the same level as ret and other top amateurs.
