I work in events atm, and it's extremely expensive to run a sub 1k person event let alone something around 10k. Perhaps they need to look at different sponsor arrangements for the future where they can bring on different tiers just for the finals. Would MBC get control over things like food, beverage and merchandise? It'd be interesting to see their revenue streams and where they could improve as they clearly aren't making enough and it isn't doing justice to a great finals series like this. | ||

In recent MSLs, turnout has been less than great (like with Calm/Kwanro), and its much better to show a Medium-sized venue that's packed with people cheerings and carrying signs, than a half empty stadium with empty seats between the fans. They didn't know what the final ticket would look like this MSL. The blame shouldn't fall on them for the small/medium sized venue, but on (A) limiting the available attendance to fanclubs (instead of allowing the general public), and (B) the virtual studio, which removes a lot of the 'excitement' of panning onto the audience as they sit actually watching the players (rather than a screen showing the players). | ||

That sucks but you know what, we are going to get some FANTASTIC games either way. This will be so damn good... It is dissapointing but in no way ruins what we are about to witness. I am still SOOOOOO EXCITED FOR THIS! | ||

If for the grudge matches, they can get players playing on the back of a truck...hell they could do they same in short notice! have them play on the back of trucks in a huge parking lot or something...  | ||

That's a good idea dude, I believe the dudes at the head of MBC must've thought of this kind of way-out but maybe the sheer number of legal and technical procedures to go through were so large that they couldn't afford time and money to make such a venue change? u know, things like providing security and seats for 10k+ ppl are not easy to be done without proper prep time. Anyway, there's NO EXCUSE for MBC's decision to completely isolate Jaedong and Flash from the audience!!!! This's sure gonna go down in pro-gaming history as one of the dumb-fuckin-best decisions ever made!!!!!!!!!111111 | ||
