▲ I think it's been a while since I won 2 games in one day. Our team hasn't been losing in a disappointing manner anymore so winning today made me feel like our team is a very strong team now.
- You have a 22-Streak TvT now
▲ I didn't know FBH hyung's build early on so I started at such a disadvantage. Whenever FBH hyung plays with me, I feel as if he turns into a different person. Although I did prepare for today's game despite my heavy schedule, it was still a very hard win for me.
- Did you know you will be playing for Ace today?
▲ I knew it was me today. I expected a protoss opponent today and I have to play BeSt in MSL so I had time to prepare.
- During set 4, your team was at a big disadvantage
▲ Long ago our team would always lose 3:1 with me winning. So I was very worried today that we might return to the old days. But when Violet Hyung won today it felt like he gave me a chance so I was so happy. These days I feel so great I feel as if I can win in any ace match. I am so happy I was given a chance.
- Did you expect Jangbi or Stork as your opponent in Ace?
▲ I kept remembering the game I lost in the OSL. I really wanted to pay Stork back and I'm happy I was able to return that debt.
- Was the Timing Rush something you prepared?
▲ It was my original plan. I had other strategies prepared for BeSt so I decided to use a timing rush today. It's been a while since I used it and even if it failed my opponent was close enough to me so I was confident I could take it to late game.
- Because of the Blizzard (huge blizzard in Korea) you came to the stadium really early.
▲ We came faster than expected. But I guess it's better than being late so it was okay. I ate alot and joked around with my teammates so it was fun.
- You have the MSLs on Thursday
▲ I have prepared for my MSL games so hard, and BeSt is an opponent I really wish I could beat. I prepared so hard so my TvP doesn't turn into a weakness and I'm confident in the MSL. I'm preparing really hard for MSL so I can win.
- Last words?
▲ Today I experienced a terrible event which happened to me. When I got to the stage and tried to take a bow, one of the audience members yelled out "FLASH YOU MOTHERF***ER." I wanted to ask the coaching staff to find the guy but I stopped because I didn't want to cause a scene. I can take insults on the internet, but doing this in real life is something that shouldn't even happen. And after I saw the sign he started screaming insults at me. It really dampened my spirits today.
I mean even if you hate me that much, shouldn't they atleast have some manners?

- Your team won today
▲ Like the match against SKT, I feel like today was another trial for me to increase my skills a bit further. I feel like I accomplished my mission; if my team is winning 2:1 I will be the final blow, but if my team is losing 1:2 I will be the one who takes it to ace. However, I still made many mistakes in my game which is something I have to keep on fixing.
- You weren't satisfied with your performance today?
▲ It wasn't that I didn't feel I was playing good but rather that I put myself at a disadvantage. However I did play the best I could later on so it was okay.
- You let the first zerglings run by so easily
▲ I didn't expect Zerglings to enter my base at a timing such as that. So when my zealot finished I was shocked to see zerglings come in. So I was at a disadvantage and I started to worry that I would lose this game. However I didn't want our team to lose so I didn't give up and tried the best I could.
- Your harass and corsair micro was incredibly good
▲ My first harass was suppose to have Dark Templars in the shuttles, but I was in a hurry so I couldn't load them up. It's a pity I still can't refine the little details. But I was able to protect my shuttle against mutalisks with my corsair control so I felt great. Usually most protoss players try to run after mutalisks only to lose everything by scourges but I think I was able to use my corsairs very efficiently.
- KT protoss is statistically the strongest protoss line in all of the teams
▲ This season I felt positive our weak protoss line is no more. Other protosses in other team along with our coaching staff and teammates are helping us so much. It feels great that we removed the KTFail Toss image. From now on I wish all of our teammates can help each other to prevent us from going back to the dark ages.
- These days we could see the confidence in your eyes whenever you play
▲ Whoever I play against these days I mind control myself before the game starts. I would erase all thoughts of whether my opponent will be easy or hard and try my best regardless of who it is. Both Flash and Jaedong do the same along with many other great players. That is something I want to learn from them.
- Last words?
▲ It snowed so much today yet there were so many people who came to cheer for us. I want to thank all the fans who cheered for us and our teammates/coaching staff.
Also 815 Hyung promised yesterday to wake up early and practice today, but he decided to sleep in so I couldn't practice with anyone. So I guess, uh, thanks for your words atleast (laughs). I also wish to whoever reads my interview, happy new years!
To finish up, Stats lost today but he played very well so I wish he doesn't feel bad about it. Also I hope he shows an even better game the next chance he gets!
