It's pretty obvious that wasn't during official practice hours, it's not like the coaches allow their players to do that while they're supposed to be working. ._.
And imho. you can't expect him to be practicing 100% of the time he's on the practice place, try playing 10h+ a day yourself for months and see how it feels, especially when you still get raped by the higher tier Koreans.
While I would be disappointed, I don't really see a point in blaming him for it if he did decide to leave, the more I learn about the practice conditions (especially for foreigners) the more I start respecting them for chasing their dreams in conditions like this where achieving their ultimate goal is almost impossible and just to have a chance at it they have to work/think about the game for unholy amount of hours.

Ret said last week on his stream that nobody on estro plays with him.

No..
I cant' remember which on-demand video it was. one of the recent ones. someone asked him about his "win % in practice" and he said "doesn't exist, they don't play with me".

So maybe IdrA didnt lie about it.

So although he may be officially exonerated by the coaching/management staff, there could still be some animosity toward him among the players. Not being able to speak Korean and getting to know the players probably only makes things worse.
If I was in the same situation I'd want the players and management to know that I was brought here to play and that's what I'm going to do. I'd say I have nothing but respect for all of them and only wish to earn their trust and friendship so that we both can benefit from myself being here. You give respect, you get respect.
But, you now, I don't have perfect information on the situation so I what can I say?

Ret, UL
But you shouldn't even start to get discouraged. The amount of time it takes alot of Koreans to pass courage is huge. Two tries is nothing to be ashamed of.

I wonder if ret is a free agent. If estro are fucking him over it might be worth him putting out feelers to other teams, CJ in particular. estro can't get anything out of having him there if they're not training him or training with him.

Why do all the foreigners start at estro if all we hear about estro is poor treatment of foreigners? First IdrA plays nothing but ICCup all day, now ret. If the Koreans don't want to practice with ret then why is he even on the team? I doubt he's gonna gain anything from just playing ICCup in another country. I for one would be happy for ret if he decided to leave if conditions don't improve. Not everyone has to be like IdrA and survive long enough until you get traded to a worthwhile team.
Obviously this is all a huge assumption, but based off everyone's replies and even some information from ret/other in Korea, I believe something needs to change.

Nothing special happened. Just like I expected. Ret < 1st Round

oh man. what did he lose, zvz? then it's really no surprise
€: ah ok it was zvz. hm well ret, you gotta practise that! gogogo

I'm saying good training, hopefully with estro's help, is a lot more valuable than playing a lot with koreans and having a gung ho attitude. Didn't Nony say that they break down your playing style and make it better? With ret's ability, I bet his ceiling with proper training is more than enough to clear courage. Personally my reaction to losing competitively is to see it as an opportunity to better understand my weaknesses, and to plan a way to fix them. If keep trying works for you guys, stick with what works I guess...

I think it's something like this, for foreigners in general: 1) some guy is accepted without skill to back it up, just cause he's a foreigner, and thus taking place of more skilled Korean 2) language and different mentality and specifically in case of ret: 3) leaked replays (doesn't matter if ret really leaked them) 4) general attitude (like watching Dexter, lol)
Imo the only solution is to play like insane, if estro players don't want to then play iccup, brain, just something and gradually, slowly earn respect, or just quit and go back home. Note: I obviously don't have first-hand experience, so it's all just theory, but I'm pretty much sure it's close to the truth.

IMO if he's just massing ICCup he should A. try ask the coaches or players to play with him if thay don't work try join another team or leave.
