Lol how am I like that kid at all, Xeris? I don't talk to you, I don't stalk you, and I didn't make that post towards you.
Oh and it was just a response to a snide comment that wasn't necessary in the first place, why am I being targeted for this? OneOther, just because I benefit from the mercenary rule it doesn't mean that I somehow violated any of the rules (being 2000 miles away), there are no rules to how much I can play, and I didn't say anything that is untrue or promoting mercenaries. I myself said that due to the correction of my misconception of what the intent of CSL+ was and what it's definition is (being a college sport), there should be no mercenary system.
Random Korean, that team has the same problem except I had it worse - they don't have enough people that can play at the level necessary to win, but at least they have each other and have fun together. I have no one in my school, and I joined the school in which I take classes for credits in that school, on that school's campus; just a transfer program through a different college.

EDIT: East Division 2 is insane -.-

My question for you is why are you able to make random comments like the one above, in response to dumb posts... and I'm not allowed to make similar responses to dumb posts of yours? Why do you get so defensive. If you're going to be really aggressive with people (I.E continuing to make the kinds of posts you're making) and then turn around and start whining when people do the same to you, something's wrong.
You need to be able to take what you dish out. You can't be aggressive and then turn around and play the victim.
I do realize your position is strangely unique, and as I said before... you are the ONLY reason I even consented to have a merc rule in the first place, because I thought maybe there were other people with weird cases like yours... but ya, turned out to be a mistake.

Because I am responding to an aggressor, you are just initiating a new and more spiteful argument. Whining? Once again you address me in such a negative tone, what did I say to you in my response to you that was so insulting? You compared me to some loser on ICCup and I took it pretty lightly in my opinion.
It's cool.

In the stats for this week both Toronto and Oberlin were both credited with 3-1 in the sets column. It doesn't really change the results of the group, but I thought I might as well point it out.

So is there any word yet on when the playoffs are going to start?
|
The week after season ends. so the 28th? is the Ro16.
@Albireo we'll be reviewing and correcting all the standings after this week's match. email cstarleague@gmail.com if you notice anything atm.

Division 3 Texas advances. Texas A&M advances if they win and Rice loses. Rice advances if they win and Arizona St. loses. Arizona St. advances if they win and Texas A&M loses. If all 3 win, it comes down to set tiebreakers. If all 3 lose, then you have Texas at 5-0 and 5 teams at 2-3. Someone else can do this if they want.
well, that's funny...... Now case 3 happened but I have no idea why Rice still ranked 2nd there...
The Standings are arranged by Wins, then Losses, then Set Wins, then Set Losses. Because Rice has more set wins than Arizona, it is second in the standings for its div. However, under the tiebreak system (on the CSL forums), Arizona beat Rice when they faced off, so they advance (tied in match wins/losses) as the second ranked from that division.

what are we going to do about winter break? My school gets out for winter break on December 11th and at least 2 of my players are leaving the country for the break (including one going back to China). There could be extreme lag or scheduling issues, assuming the players on my team even have the ability to play overseas (I'm not sure what their situation will be computer and internet-wise).
|
Schedule:
Nov 28 = Ro16 Dec 5 = Ro8 Dec 12 = Ro4 Jan 2 / 3 = Final (To be decided which)
hmm...that could be unfortunate =[

On second thought, it will be similar to the regular season in terms of scheduling - if need be, you can reschedule your match to that Friday or maybe Thursday, but that might be stretching it. It depends on you and the other team really.

Hey. My friend wants to know the format for the entire playoffs. Is that decided upon yet? I'm aware that the round of 16 is division 1 seed 1 vs division 3 seed 2 etc. After that though, who plays who?

maybe we could just delay the entire playoffs until like mid-january lol
