so why do they have a SF proleague? What is so good about SF that it warrants its own proleague??

Graphics are really clean, it has no climbing tricks whereas most FPS now do and overall the pace of the game is quite nice.

Grenade kills are extremely rare and smoke screens are extremely important. Grenade numbers are not limited to 1 per player so teams can more or less reset to a 4v4 or 3v4 and such.

And also, sniping looks cleaner than in other FPS, dunno why tho lol.

imagine if there were two teams competing on the UMS special forces maps.... which team can beat the map faster, etc... haha that sorta (just sorta) sounds awesome
4v4 is a battle of who has the better computer.

KeSpa should do another All-Star matchup, rather than tossing SC and SF together.
the two before the SPL final was unsatisfying.

lol this is only a one-off to experiment with crowd turnouts nothing bad
and the reason why there is only 2 sc matches is so that teams can rest more of their players and send out their trash/those who have no home to go back to.

Because when you have complete trash like Roro and Jaehoon considered as All Stars, who can take it seriously?

Aw, I thought the SC guys were going to be off-gaming. Now I don't understand the appeal of this at all (and Kennigit might be on to something).

I'm so glad everyone on TeamLiquid is an expert in Korean viewer ratings and knows how well this will be received in their own country.

KeSPA is in no way obligated to care whether or not there are SF fans outside of Korea. The money the broadcasting companies get is from viewer ratings inside the country, and if there's a sizeable number of SF fans inside the country, then this event will get ratings.

That being said, I want Hite to win because their SF team is all females and their SC team isn't bad.

Instead of this they should have pro teams play a bunch of SC: BW 4v4s and the progamers have to off-race.

They shouldn't have anything that requires the pro teams. For how much they work/practice 10 months of the year they should have at least a month of solid rest/travel time (should they want to).

Seriously, stagger the SF/SC leagues so that when one is on off-season the other is going on, and use fun/amateur events to fill the rest of the time The players deserve the time off.

Oh well, I'm a very considerate person as I'm sure all TL members are and I meant it would be a better alternative (though not realistic really) than the stupid idea they're doing now.

Honestly though, I forgot that those progamers are human beings too so I guess giving them a break would be nice, and would probably be good for their health/happiness as well which could result in better gaming.

Ace is SF and not Starcraft.

They'll all end up addicted to WoW like Storku.

Heh though it would be good for them to go out and see the sun every once in awhile. Flash get a girlfriend..

This actually sounds kind of cool. I don't see what the big deal is that they're playing more SF than SC, KeSPA runs both of them so they are promoting both of them equally (or well I guess in this case SF a little more).

Think of all the SF fans in korea who would be pissed if it was 3 SC games and 2 SF matches. ^___^
