Baseball has three major sports channels basically showing a game a day. I'm not sure what happens when there are four games (K-league has 8 teams) - maybe scheduling staggered? Soccer/football is on at random times for the K-league and pretty much a soccer game from somewhere in the world every late night on every sports channel - mostly EPL, Spanish, and Champions, although I've even seem MLS highlights. As far as highlights go, it's mostly soccer. It seems like baseball games in Korea get better attendance overall but soccer rules the TV. Also, far more Koreans talk about baseball - but maybe that's because they assume all foreigners are American and we don't play soccer (which I find irritating, but w/e). After the big two I would say esports is probably third - basketball and golf are on a lot during the season, but SC runs year round. So my watching feels like the correct order here is baseball/soccer->esports (mostly SC)->basketball/golf->volleyball (the Army has a team, and they're actually decent)->tennis?->no idea. Of course, I don't have any stats to back this up.

I also think it is a positive step in making e-sports larger in the rest of the world. If more companies like GOM (and Averatec and Intel) can see the potential of bringing pro e-sports to the rest of the world, I believe we can see it slowly spread outside Korea.

I think you might be wrong though, do you remember SKY 2004 R1 between SKT and Hanbit? Like 10x the people turned up to Gwanahli Beach for that than the Baseball All-Star game in the same city on the same day. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=81863 I saw the pdf as well

I think OGN finals have reached some pretty impressive statistics, but OGN/MBCGame aren't even guaranteed channels in a lot of cable television packages at this point. On average they NEVER break the top 10 in terms of most watched cable channels. And I'm just fairly sure Baseball is by far the #1 the more I think about my personal experiences and variety of info I've come by. http://www.teamliquid.net/staff/FrozenArbiter/Park.pdf Page 6 Soccer -> E-Sports -> Baseball -> MMA Source: Consumer Survey Report by Dongseo Research, April 2008
