Ok I agree sides are not good things but seriously, our side is right. There hasn't been a single valid argument contrary.

It almost makes sense since you fail at math but you are really tired and so am I so math is irrelevant. Its hard to pick sides T___T Decisions are hard to make.

4000 huh? You still have 3999 on my screen =]
I'm at a crossroad myself, where I think I prefer SC2 more, simply because I'm better at it and it's more aesthetically pleasing to my eyes (shitty reasons I know). But I love how BW was so mechanically difficult and how the games are just waaaaay more exciting, not to mention the crazy micro battles and tricks you see that most likely won't carry over to SC2.
In the end, they're both Starcraft and I'll love both of them!

BW rules SC2 isn't bad.
I mean we could all be playing warcraft 3 right

Lol I am in the same boat as you. But unlike you, the only pain I feel is when sc2 people flame BW and not the other way around lol. I like sc2 because I am better at it (not a good reason I know lol), but I just like BW...because of many reasons.

I wanna play BW in the SC2 engine... :8

if you read the post you will see that I am more in favour of BW than SC2.

I like both too! It's the only way to go imo~

I think the two sides really tend to flare up in the BW/SC2 sections, but overall for me:
- enjoy BW because of the players, amount of mechanical skill required by the players and the amount of battles which occur etc (doesn't suffer as much from "giant ball syndrome" as SC2). Proleague is also awesome (GCPL and the GSTL are ok but ideally it'd be nice to see a much much longer, korean/international team league).
- enjoy SCII because of the foreigners in Korean tournaments, how huge the scene has gotten outside of Korea, and the fact that there is constantly available English commentary. Korean commentators have a lot of energy and all but nothing beats being able to understand it. edit: Personally I found the gameplay in the GSL at first to be all-in/cheese/awful 10 minute games every time, but with the introduction of new maps/macro style/etc I tend to enjoy it more.
There's no reason the two can't co-exist (as we've already seen they can). The only thing that irks me is when people go into the BW scene and tell people that their scene is dead/should die/etc. >_>

Both SC2 and SC:BW are great amazing games, choosing one of them is impossible in my eyes. They both have their good and bad sides

I just stopped caring regardless. Most of the flames are generally people trolling for a reaction, so I really don't care about those. Oh no someone on the internet just said that "BW is an archaic piece of shit that just needs to die", what are we to do?! I just chuckle to myself and move on.
If people actually give a reason why they think one game is better or worse that is terribly misguided I might try to explain it why thats not really true to them, but that is pretty much the extent to which I will worry about it.
So many of the posts are motivated purely by emotions, desire to troll, or just plain ignorance. The only ones worth considering at all are the last, and even then alot of times people just don't want to consider the other side of the coin at all. While I do wish people would stop posting random hate because it frequently causes derailment of otherwise decent threads (we are doing ALOT better about this than before though) I personally hardly notice, or care, about the random hate posts.

as much as i love both, BW is dying. Fact is SC2 will be around for at least a few more years, the expansions will make sure of that. BW can not stay on life support forever waiting for sc2 to potentially die. The international scene is effectively gone, and i reckon the korea sc2 scene will eventually (unfortunately) whither off as well. People will still play BW, but i think the korea pro scene can only last a little longer.

Just....no....
You're probably saying this because of WCG or something like that, The Koreans don't particularly care about WCG compared to pro league/msl/osl because it's not as prestigious. While they have to say things like "we hope to have another korean rep but the competition is stiff" everyone unofficially knows that Koreans will rape any foreign competition and the gold/silver will be in korean hands.
