[Stream] Please help me break my losing streak!

Rot1nPieces United States77 Posts November 21 2010 01:54 GMT #1 Hey all. I'm on a losing streak and I'm sick of the gold league. None of my strats are working. I'm about to do a stream and was wondering if anyone is willing to critique me? It will go on at 9:15EST. I'd like any help I can get!

TheWoodLeagueAllstar United Kingdom617 Posts November 21 2010 01:56 GMT #2 It will be hard to help alot from a 1 person perspective stream, likely 99% of your issues will come down to scouting, scouting is phase 1, reaction is phase 2, likely if you dont scout well then we cant help you with phase 2 so despite best intentions thats where you need to start. Ill take a look though Also what race? And typically what do you lose to most?

TheWoodLeagueAllstar United Kingdom617 Posts November 21 2010 02:10 GMT #4 Well as a random player, though noble of you, you are going to find that out of the 9 matchups you face your going to have alot more difficulty than if you specialised in a race. Consider this, everyone you hear says "oh i hate x matchup" with one race (most people anyhoo), with random that kind of multiplies itself three fold, worse so since likely you have one race which you are best at which ups your mmr and one which you arent so good at. That isnt to say you shouldnt be a random, its just to say the difficulties get multiplied the more matchups you have to learn, so if losing is a big thing you hate then perhaps its best to stick to one race for a while. It also helps people give you advice because if you are looking for advice as a random player your going to get alot which is tailored to each race, which is alot to take in when you are in gold. That isnt to cause offence by any means.

The best thing to do is post replays of games where you had no idea why you lost, so people can tell you.
