So the reason why I bet on Jaedong is that (while I haven't seen much of him lately cause too busy to watch) is that his decision making in crucial spots in big matches has always appeared to be incredibly clutch. Sure in TvZ you can play amazing but general TvZ/ZvT trends suggest that games are generally in zerg's hands to win or lose (obv v v hard vs flash lol). I though Jaedong was gunna be capable of making those game winning plays but he didn't. WTF?
Game 1 he played a really strange/cool variation of 미친저그(crazy zerg) but it was super high eco heavy and no ling/low muta count. When flash almost broke his expo then JD finally got some swarms up thats when a normal JD is supposed to hold off with his clutch decision making (which units to pump) and gosu defiler control. But then he decided to stop making units all together? I dunno maybe he thought Flash would simply fear his defilers and back off for enough time to ultras but JD if you just invested 45 secs of ur time into making sure you can hold instead of going straight for ultras you would have raped him WTF. Fail.
Game 2: WTF first of all in that first fight u guys had middle right learn to micro instead of flying ur scourge right past the valks and not even attacking with the mutas at first. Secondly U didn't even have to fight right then and there you could have waited for more units OR harassed Flash's main / expo which was turretless and sacrificed the 2nd multi and defended ur nat/main with lurks. So many better decisions he could have made in this game to either take a big lead or transition into mid game on an even playing field. But he just makes the wrong moves and micros horrible. Fail.
Game 3: LOL kid was on some serious tilt and so was I. Won't even bother wasting time talking about this one.
GG to everyone who bet, you guys don't know how good you ran with JD playing so F'ing bad. Either he was hella nervous or something about Flash was in his head. Either way FML.
Time to go downstairs and try to win some money back. Though I was praying for Kim-Jong-Il to attack SK early in game 3 because I knew that was my only chance of getting out of the bet. That being said my karma is probably at an all time low right now and I'm probably about to lose alot more.
