Jaedong can show amazing games, but at the same time he can screw it hard...

I would of bet on JD too, his decision making is usually top notch and he always seemed to have a small edge over Flash when they'd play. It didn't seem like him at all today. Game 1 and 3 almost felt like he purposely tried to play so different/bad to just throw Flash off and hope he'd never see it coming.

If I had to bet, I'd bet on Jeadong too.. even before the matches I was afraid for my boy flash.

Game 1 looked to me like Flash beat JD in mindgames. JD thought it was mech and bought +1 muta armor, then he had to change his build completely in the middle of the game. He didn't buy an army at all. I don't think the drone saw the ebay researching, and it was reasonable to think the ebay was for turrets

Game 2 ditto... JD wasn't ready for bio w/ valk support at all. There wasn't a lot he could do when the valks were revealed, and he did his best but it wasn't enough. It only took a little control from Flash to deny the outside chance JD had to stop his push.

Game 3 looked like JD got himself together and won the early mindgames... but he was so mindfucked from earlier that it seemed like he thought he was all-in, when in reality he could have just powered up. If he had made the game-winning decision to expand after doing all that damage, their series would suddenly have turned really interesting. JD would have had momentum going into game4, and then it would have been anyone's guess who would win the series, just like with Flash/Effort.

But that's not what happened. Flash inflicted the mental pain on Jaedong early and it was enough. Like the woman said in Chariots of Fire, 'on the day, the best man won.' It'll be different on a different day, but Flash earned his win. Sry rekrul.

I don't believe it's possible to actually be so contrarian that you'll do something stupid just b/c someone tells you not to, so hopefully you won't lose more money. But maybe you'll prove me wrong!
