So, after an exhausting exam period, I'm finally done and ready to take off for my planned trip to New Hampshire  . This is pretty exciting for me, since it's the first time I'll be visiting the US and not just that, it will be for 2 full weeks! Unfortunately, I've had my hands more than full lately and haven't had the chance to make any arrangements at all as to what we'll be seeing/where we'll be going exactly.
Me and my 2 friends will be staying with one of my friend's uncle and there will be cousins and other relatives as well, so we won't be on our own, however, considering these people have work/studies they won't be with us all the time so I'd like to have an idea for cool places to visit or things to do/see.
Searching tl.net gave me 2 similar threads

but not exactly what I'm asking for right here. A visit to the white mountains will most probably be one of our destinations.
So, if you live around that area, or you've visited too and know what's going on, please give me some more suggestions. Any additional comments, information about anything relative are of course more than welcome.

the white mountains are awesome; highest elevations on the east coast, and you'll be there just in time to see the fall plumage.
if you're planning on spending 2 weeks here, you should at least try to plan a trip to boston, and maybe new york. unless you're planning on some serious r&r, you're probably gonna get bored of new hampshire in a week

If I'm not mistaken the town is named Hollis.
My bad not mentioning this in first post -_-
And yea, a trip to Boston is on the schedule. Nothing has been said about NY though, I think it's pretty far from there ?

hrmph. hollis is just west of one of our "biggest cities", nashua, with an amazing ~80,000 people. there's a decent arcade there called fun world. another 25 minutes to the east and you will hit Salem (my home town), with an amusement park that i believe just closed for the season. south of salem by about 45 minutes is Boston, which is worth seeing.
new hampshire is basically made up of 4 parts:
1) Trees
2) Squirrels
3) Water
4) Artosis (but hes goin back to korea in a few hours, so u gonna miss out on the best part! l o l)

Good advice, but the word you want is "foliage." Plumage is on birds.

Holy shit Artosis is from NH? Here in concord (the capital) can give you some historic insight as there are a few landmarks, if you care about the settlers you should hit up the NH museum that's downtown. At this time the foliage is at peak, if it is still around then you should hit up the lakes region because the view is stunning, colors upon colors of rolling mountains.
