I was going uphill on my way home going 80km/h on a 60km/h road and a cop was going downhill and just as I saw him he started to slow down and it looked like he caught me. I then thought to myself "How long would it take him to turn his car and come uphill? Because there was a huge divider between the uphill and downhill he can't just turn his car around right away." So I figured that it would give me enough time to get away ....
I floored it and started going 120km/h uphill and then took my first right, then left, then left, then right into a random persons driveway and parked the car and turned off the engine. In my head I thought "Yes I got away from a speeding ticket!". But just as I turned off the engine the blue and red lights were flashing behind me ...
How the hell did he go all the way downhill and then come uphill and catch up to me ... I'll never know, but this is what he told me when I got caught. "I couldn't get your speed but I knew you were speeding because you were going faster than the other cars that were going uphill. But I see your windows are tinted so I'm going to give you a speeding warning and an illegal mod ticket."
He also asked me if this was my house and obviously my address was on my license so I couldn't say it was so I told him it was my friends house. If someone came out of that house at that time I would have been so screwed for lying to a cop. He told me to follow him to the station and that he would have to talk to someone at the station to check if he could give me a speeding ticket.
In the end I had to go with him because he knew how fast I was going but I'm pretty sure he took me down to the station to scare me because he didn't legally get a record of my actual speed. Good thing is my ticket for that night was only $57.
I raced a cop and didn't get a speeding ticket! lol

Wow cops in Korea sound pretty nice. In Ohio if someone with tinted windows took off the cops would probably pat you down for drugs then take you into the station handcuffed. Cop cars are built to be fast though so I'm not surprised, did he see you go into the neighborhood? If he did, then all he had to do was follow you in and look for your car in the driveways.

Once my uncle got caught speeding to his work place and instead of getting a ticket, he got escorted to the casino he works at.
How? He improvised a story about how a gambler is blaming him for his loses and is now stalking/chasing him. Baller.

You should have just driven home instead of stopping, unless it's a straight shot to your house after the neighborhood you were in he'd probably never end up finding you

Yeah but if I tried to bolt to my house, I might have gotten stuck at traffic lights which would mean I would've got caught 100%.

Cop has gosu tracking, wow. Yea, I don't think he can give you a ticket unless he gets you on his radar gun or was following you side by side for a "decent" amount of time.

Probably a veteran cop who has been in too many high-speed chases in his lifetime.

i really raced a pig once, toe to toe. i had two friends in my honda prelude (back in the 90s this was) and an ounce of cannabis. for some reason when a cop flew past going about 80mph i decided to accelerate and pass him. then he flew past me again and turned on his lights, duh.
when he pulled me over i thought it was curtains: flagrant speed assault on an officer of the law, possession with intent to distribute, driving under the influence, etc. i needed to prevent him from coming over to my side of the vehicle (where the dope was under my seat and quite pungent). i decided to just get out and meet him half-way. that as 10 years ago, so i was obviously a kid of 17 or so and since im not black i knew i wasn't going to get shot. anyway, when i got out and met the officer half-way between our cars this dialogue took place:
officer: this vehicle of yours a honda prelude?
me: yessum
officer:what year?
me: 92
officer: Nice! I always like the older body style. I got me a 94 with vtech.
me: oh i wanted one of those but a little out of my price range.
officer: yea, its pretty nice. anyway, don't race cops ok. you kids have fun.
me: yessir!

I think he just drove over the divider that was between the roads. The divider was around 30cm high I think?
