Oh my. That was pretty interesting though I'm sad about my draft position, at least it wasn't 8th. I didn't had a strategy planned beforehand but I had a mental list of players I hoped to get, and wasn't able to get most of them. I think especially my later picks were acts of desperation. I lack good second tier players and there especially a good second or third terran. Should have gotten turn fe instead of major, but this season is more than this round so I hope he can do well later. My double-first-tier-teams-strategy could be my savior. Especially these both teams have a good all-kill probability in winners league. Let's see how it goes.

Pokebunny and TheEmulator seem to have a pretty bad team, the others are all relatively equal, depends mostly on luck, I'd say.

semioldguy played that very well from his draft position, didn't make a lot of mistakes, I would probably have picked almost the same way.

Also, why would you pick Stork so early, monk? Crazy-Hydra, bravo, Dear, Speed, Light, JYP, Revival and all the others still available and you pick Stork??^^

I valued Stork over Crazy-Hydra and Light. JYP and Revival were also good picks, but I don't think they'll get as much playing time in winner league and this fantasy league is going to be half winner league. Stork is also basically guaranteed to play each match on Samsung, which was one of his main selling points imo. Speed and Dear could have been good picks though and in retrospect, it might have been better to pick either of them instead.

Also, I actually personally disagree with most of SemiOldGuy's picks.

I would have personally taken Dear because STX is going to be riding him a lot harder. Yes, Stork will obviously see play time and it's a shame he lost last night when he was in a really good position, but he's just slow and isn't catching on as quick as the others. I have a hard time seeing him doing well in this format compared to Dear and to a lesser extent JYP because like you said, JYP's play time could be diminished because of all the weapons EG-TL has. Good news is he's starting off this week; whereas, Dear is the cornerstone for STX. He will play every match similarly to Stork. Only difference is I see him winning a lot more games.

Flash and JD combo is looking good for you KadaverBB too heh.

I already left R1ch a message about Jangbi's score. He does all the FPL updates during the season. All I'm in charge of is making point values and FPL coverage.

Reality's score is probably wrong. I did all these by hand off the top of my head without referencing liquipedia and I only did so because poke was bothering me to update it.

I take it each team can be picked twice to compensate for the fact you cant take an offense and defense for each team like in fantasy football?

It's to compensate for the fact that there are 8 teams and 8 players. No variety/decision making involved and very hard to trade. People who don't get first team picks can also get shafted.

Pokebunnys team looks to me like it has the most depth. All his picks could claim some wins. A really well-rounded team. I think he is gonna win when its all over.
