Tom Phoenix 1114 Posts August 07 2009 14:36 GMT #42 - Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Fallout 3 are both preety good, although both are filled with their share of faults. - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has both an interesting and challenging singleplayer. - Hearts of Iron II is one of few (good) grand strategy games available. It`s suprisingly simple to learn, but you will literally spend hours playing it just micromanaging every little aspect of running a country during a time of war. - If you have ever enjoyed war games, The Operational Art of War III is about as modern as you can get in that aspect. - The Half-Life series of games are equally as legendary as any of the Blizzard franchises and coming from one of the few developers that are similar to Blizzard. - From adventure games, the Monkey Island series (particularly Curse of Monkey Island) are a must play. - If you can handle poetic talk, both Max Payne`s are worthwhile to play. That is all I can think of right now. I will mention if I remember anything else.
