From the staples of the chocopies, which are incredibly addictive

Wasabi and peas? how could that possible be a good snack? I'm not quite sure, but theyre so good
Or what about roasted seaweed snacks?
The only thing better than asian snacks are crazy asian drinks. Only someone of asian descent would ever consider trying to turn fermented milk into a drink, and yet the result is so amazing.
Or how about aloe vera, you know that stuff us westerners use as moisturizer? asians drink that stuff, and god it is good.
Now I know someone is going to run into this thread and proclaim their love for pocky, so I'm going to go ahead and preemptively say this: Pocky sucks. You can never tell where the snack ends and the box begins when you're eating pocky
Asian snacks are probably the most unhealthy junk food on the planet. I don't know how they manage to fit so many calories into such little food, but it's truly amazing.

I totally agree, I try not to eat them too much, but when I do I get a big ass smile on my face. They taste so good.
One of my favourite Asian snacks is coconut (I think it's coconut) covered peanuts, its like this hard shell over the peanut, taste really good. Really bad for you though and if I eat too much it gives me a sore throat.
Edit - WTF? I'm a Zealot? what happened to my Probe?!?

I think I know those. My family really likes them Most Korean cookies make you feel bad after you eat them :l Korean Ice Cream, however is soooo much better than American Ice Cream :ll like melon bars mmmmm
I remember this one snack from a Korean market. It's like a little blue box and inside were crackers shaped like various fish. The crackers were slightly spicy and they were good as hell. Anyone know the name of it?

I used to eat quite a bit of Pocky back in University, but I find it a bit dry now. I tend to go for shrimp chips, Goraebab and chocolate mainly. (But not now because I'm on a diet.) I'm addicted to those little health milk drinks you can get in packs of a bazillion. They're like Yakult, but come in flavors like kiwi and pineapple. This is weird because I hate plain milk....
Goraebab:
Yakult (only I mean the Korean versions.)
We should so start a thread for reviewing different countries snack foods and drinks one day.

Haha everyone freezes those and eats them :D And then it's impossible to get out because the opening is too small! But it's sooo good frozen haha

I love seaweed and that roasted seaweed looks good, I wonder how it taste like. As for the dry spicy squid jerky, you should try those, that thing taste good.

When my cousin was doing his mandatory military service my relatives asked him what he wanted and he asked for them to ship nothing but 3 boxes of chocopies.

This one right?
Soooooooo good haha
Yeah, that's the one! When my friends are around and I have a few cans of those, they go so quickly haha
Yan Yan ares nostalgic, but they're not that good. Have you ever held those sticks and examined them? They're sooooooooooo greasy I have no idea why XD
I can't actually have that grass jelly drink anymore, I use to drink/eat that alot as a kid, I think I must have gotten sick of it after all that time.
Has anyone had these? These are the best lollies ever. They come in so many flavours as well.
Hm, I eat the seaweed and peas, but I could never like some other vegetable snacks like bean-flavored ice cream. Dried squid and shrimp are good. brb eating peas.

This > pokko/chocolate filled panda cookies/grass jelly IMO no kid
I'm a big fan of almost all the things posted in here, especially roasted seaweed and Yan-Yan. Haven't been eating much recently because I've been dieting though
edit: my relative from came back from the Philippines with a lot of Boy Bawang: + Show Spoiler +

It's 고래밥 "Goraebab" (whale food), I think nevergg posted a picture in this thread =o

actaully in kyrgyztan (doesnt count as asian) they have made an alcoholic beverage out of mare's milk (or cows milk) for quite some time.

Also, I love these too!
One of the few asian snacks I can find at Wal-Mart lol.
Dude these are so good.. the strawberry ones are amazing, it's like the strawberry icing from pocky but without the nasty sticks. yan yan is good too, I don't remember it being greasy =S
They are all so good.......................except the wasabi peas, pretty disgusting imo. Aloe drink is so damn good especially with something hella salty. Or with Pocky that works too. Sometimes i can drink 2 liters of Aloe at once. zz lol
They're ok until you realize they're all sugary coverings of fried somethings. And then you realize that they don't know how to bake or make bread, with the exceptions of diabetic cake-like substances. Blueberry muffins. Croissants. Pastries. I guess they're comparable to pretzels and chips.
it may or may not be true, but i feel that asian snacks are healthier than american snacks. less fat and stuff (but it's a snack, so of course it's still unhealthy)
I love all of these snacks - when I was 5 I ate a family pack of Shrimp crackers (새우깡) by myself
Milkis is my all time favorite drink, I wish they sold it at a grocery store near here so I don't have to drive an hour to the nearest asian mart to get it, and it's so expensive
My Grandparents used to give me a 요구르트(Yakuit?) every time I went over to see them when I was little Other Favorites Banana Milk Melonbar (Melona) Pepero (Pocky) 감자깡(Potato snack, looks like this)
고래밥 뿌셔뿌셔 (basically instant ramen noodles you crush and pour with the sauce packet they give you and eat)
