Any comments / recommendations? This computer is going to be handling vigorous, vigorous web surfing, sometimes maybe over 4 tabs at a time!  | ||

So later on down the road, its not going to cost just $50 for a new vid card. | ||

It wasn't that long ago that hard drives were under 100 gigs (my earliest computers were under 1 gig lol), processors were under a gigabit (iirc I had a 760 celeron not all that long ago), and memory was God knows how tiny. Large monitors were also 75 pounds, there was no reasonable analogue to usb, mouses/mice sucked, keyboards sucked, portable media sucked. Now it's so convenient but young people take it for granted. | ||

No reason not to nowadays. Especially since most sets hover a little over $40. Something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227267 Otherwise it all looks good. Edit: Might want to switch to a different case with free shipping, as it will cost you at least 20 bucks no matter what size you choose, throwing off your budget a bit. | ||
