Reader, I ask you, what were you doing on the evening of June 12th 2009 between 13:00 and 17:00 GMT? Were you at home, playing Brood War on ICCup? Were you out with friends? At the movies perhaps? I, on the other hand, along with my best friends, was parting with high school for the fourth and final time. For you see reader, June 12th 2009 was the date of my high school graduation.
The venue was The Gulf Hotel in Bahrain, one of the fancier hotels around (it wasn’t cheap for the students -_-). One hundred and seven graduates of Modern Knowledge Schools gathered together for what could possibly be the last time they sit together in the same room. At around 15:00 GMT, the changing room was filled with the chanting of the graduates: “signature” chants of the MKS Class of ’09 along with inside jokes that would be shared for the last time.
The audience was filled. The graduates emerged from the changing room and marched up to the stage in the most behaved manner I have ever seen from them. I looked around at the audience filled with over 1000 cheering friends and family members of the graduating class; the orchestra hired by the school; the banners and balloons flying over the audience as if it were the OSL Finals. When I took my seat on stage, I thought back to the past four years.
For the first time, I felt that the past four years of my life have passed like a swift breeze. The past two years especially with my IB class will never be forgotten. A non-IB friend of mine later asked me “was all the hard work worth it?” I thought back. The memorable field trip to Cyprus during which we happened to get stuck in Kuwait for a couple of days; the outings I had spent with my classmates; the all-nighters spent asking classmates online for help (as well as assignments that I had to look for outside help *cough* FakeSteve *cough* lol thanks man!!); the possible future I have in The University of Western Ontario. Then there were the bonds I had grown with each of my friends over the years which I cannot forget. “Yes,” I told my non-IB friend “it was all worth it.”
The chairwoman of the school gave her speech, followed by speeches from the principal, guest speakers and most importantly the valedictorian (she mentioned me in her speech; why wouldn’t I find it the most important ). After the graduates collected their certificates, and their graduation announced, 107 graduations caps flew into the air and then it hit me: I am done with high school.
107 Graduation caps in the air!! Well, half of them at least...

I was just finishing watching a movie while high. After the movie I went to the bathroom but was too fucked up to know which door was for which gender. My senses failed me and I walked into the bathroom, noticing there was no urinals. Still completely out of my mind, I open the door to a stall and start pissing in the toilet. A minute later, I hear the door creak open and someone say "OMG that movie was so good! Like, I loved _____(some actor) when he did that part!" then "EEEEK!! Me too! That was so cute! That's when it hit me. I was definitely in the girls bathroom. Still peeing for like two fucking minutes, god damn that was the longest piss of my life. It was blasting hard into the toilet seat too like I was putting all my energy into forcing it. I kept peeing for another minute then heard them laugh. I think they might have noticed me. After I was done I just sat there thinking of how I can explain this. I waited for like 5 minutes but people kept coming in since the movies just ended and everyone needed to pee. When I thought everyone was finally gone I was just about to open the stall door then I heard some chick peeing in the stall next to me. Eventually I think she left but I wasn't sure. I was tempted to look under the door or over the stall to make sure but that would have backfired horribly if someone was there and she saw me. I took the risk and bolted out the stall and out the door, forgetting to wash my hands or flush. I caught up to my friends and they asked me what took me so long. My face was beat red.
