1. Calm Down 2. Stop contradicting yourselves You can't claim that after his first failed attack the game was over and then say that the only thing he could do was make DTs to try and win. He made DTs too late to catch Jangbi (or any decent protoss) offguard. 3. I didn't say Bisu should have had observers. I said that Bisu should have assumed that Jangbi had observers. Unless he KNEW Jangbi didn't he should have assumed he did as progamers are often aware of DT cheese. 4. To say Bisu couldn't have expanded after the first attack is COMPLETE FAILURE on your part. If your argument is that he lost with the failure of the first attack and the game was over then, why would attempting to expand be criticized? bisu had nothing to lose by attempting to expanding. The map was large enough to possibly give time to slowdown an attack. Also Jangbi wasn't being aggressive. Stall your opponent and try to expand. it has been done before and it can be done again." "going dt in case jangbi wouldn't ahve observers is poor strategy against a gamer of jangbi's caliber. Jangbi hasn't been playing the best recently but he is still a high caliber protoss. You can catch up economically if you make well thought out attacks and/or your opponent makes future mistakes." "the point is this. Bisu should have attempted another strat after the first failed attack. It was obvious that he was too far behind then. But he KEPT TRICKLING DOWN GOONS AND MADE DTS! Bisu kept TRYING to attack for 4 minutes after the first failed attack. That was insanity. He should have tried something else. He had nothing to lose. To say he couldn't have attempted to expand within 4 min after a failed attack is preposterous. Jangbi didn't rush his base." "Hmm I don't get it. I comment on a horrible game played by Bisu and get flamed by those saying I don't understand his strat? A strat that failed because of several reasons listed by those doing the flaming? Where I'm from using a strat in any game that is countered because of different reasons that are not all related to the actions of the opponent and thereby losing because of said strat is called playing horribly. Bisu is my fave player to watch but if he fails, he fails." "I disagree because their builds were actually quite similar. The loser just went 4 gates sooner. SC would be so boring if there was no turning back. You can always adapt, the choice is up to you. " "I'd be more inclined to agree with u if this were a zerg mirror. Build order can advantage a player but nonzerg mirrors offer more of a chance to adapt. especially considering bisu's poor micro in the first fight (allowing probes to attack goons and not moving them). when he sent in dts instead of expanding that was a poor decision imo. a decent toss player w/ 2 bases would have observers by then. that is why it seemed as if he underestimated jangbi. " The worst part is...all but the second to last comment are by the same guy. I couldn't help myself and tried to argue with him...he's a stubborn fucker, and I'm a masochist. | ||
