This is a game I just played on Shoddy Battle. For those who aren't familiar with Pokemon, taunt prevents the opposing pokemon from using moves that aren't direct attacks until it either wears off or (much more often) the opposing pokemon switches out. The move he used, attract, has a chance to cause a pokemon of the opposite gender to be unable to attack. He used it on my Azelf, which is genderless.

Who the hell puts attract on a Ninjask anyway?
Seriously. Most ninjasks are either sub/bp/swords dance/x-scissor or some focus sash or choice band "gimmick" situational sets.
:/

Are you seriously bragging about being good at pokemon battles?
Congratulations, you're king of the twelve year olds.

Congratulations, you're king of the twelve year olds. No, I'm actually not very good. I just found it funny that this guy left after the 1st turn because I used a "dumb" move.
Also, you play an 11 year old rts with minimal appeal outside of one country in asia. Get over yourself.

OH SHI..... + Show Spoiler + let us not begin a flame war between Pokemon and SC unless you are going to bring in some class A trollers.

Oh, actually, what would've been the best move, I think, is to immediately switch to something that completely walls Ninjask, such as Skarm (I'm speaking from a mostly RS standpoint...do people even use Skarm anymore?), just in the off-chance you eat a choice banded U-Turn or X-Scissor, both of which would seriously dent that Azelf. Not to mention Skarm can immediately either set-up or phaze away any attempted setup.

Dude ... Pokemon ... Seriously? -_________-

First of all, XFD at anyone who looks down on Pokémon like it doesn't require strategy or skill. Good job at looking beyond the cover of a game, guys.
Yeah, the best move probably was to swap out to a Drill Peck packing Skarm. That way, if he has CB X-Scissor you screw him up, and if he's a normal Sub-Dancer Ninjask you can still set up Spikes and put pressure up.
