A question for all of you who think that you have reached a point in life where you are satisfied and you acquired /reached the success you wanted, how can a person find success in his goals and his aspirations if his/her failures are more consistent and too big to overcome? How do you accomplish something when the trail you're taking is one that is not guaranteed to give you what you want and you're pretty much alone with no help from anyone and you don't anything to help you or fall back on?

How many of those do you expect to find here?

What failures are too big to overcome? That's a defeatist attitude which you need to avoid.

That's most/all trails.

You are feeling alone, and that is understandably a setback. I think it's more important to avoid being/feeling alone than it is to meet whatever your long term goals are.

The point of life is to find pleasure. For me- that is getting my degree, eventually working in the ER and owning a sailboat.

If you keep failing, try having smaller aspirations.

Like:

Way to go, me, I made a pb n' j sandwich

Way to go, me, I got on the bus without tripping

Way to go, me, I posted a blog that wasn't emo and self depreciating

Etc.
The number you have dialed is out of porkchops.

dumbass you're going to fail a ton. Success comes from overcoming those failures. YOU MUST OVERCOME.

Success usually happens by learning from previous failures; it isn't very often that you become successful on your first try just dicking around not knowing what to do.

I've been pretty satisfied all my life so when someone talks about their problems I can't relate at all and am of no help whatsoever.
No I'm never serious.

Never be satisfied with where you are, always climb higher. Having this determination to get closer and closer to perfection must be made very early on, and must be maintained throughout.

There are no no win situations.

Give it all you got and be absolutely your real self, and be honest with yourself. If you think you won't make it.

He's right. You gotta just Bruce Lee it.

Lets say you are a grandparent now. You still can do the best you can, pass on what you know to your next generations. I mean come on...elderly advice, thats pretty high up there.

This. You fail because you want to fail, or you expect to fail. You need a positive attitude.
