I remember when "all your base" first came to my attention. I was a mod at the winamp.com forum when a flood of tards came in posting "all your base are belong to us", "for great justice", etc etc. We had no idea what was going on and it was annoying as hell. We took it in shifts, and kept it under control. Later, discovering the Engrish background of the phrases, and seeing the shoops people had made with them, it was quite hilarious.
If stuff like this is annoying, maybe you are taking it too seriously. I don't mind finding humor everywhere. I'm not going to shut myself out of a few laughs by being better than people who write in a retarded way (not that they are retarded: it's all for the lulz, and peoples' reactions provide half of those). For me the humor comes from seeing a meme applied or mutated in a new, unexpected way or simply apropos way.
Honestly though, the only possible reaction to this thread is Y so srs?

I think the problem is that there's a ton of people now who watch youtube videos, but never do anything else on the internet, which means that reading youtube comments is like seeing the minds of the majority of the population .

I find a lot of things annoying but you learn to deal with it after working in a nursery with 2 year olds. Actually babies show more signs of intelligence than 4chan/youtube posters.

Youtube comments are the worst part of the internet by far. Just turn off ALL comments and delete ALL of them.
The thing I hate the most though is the ultra-ironic internet stuff, aka some parts of SomethingAwful and its ilk. Where everyone is speaking with a perpetual smirk on their face.

Fail used to be good when it was reserved for things like train wrecks, but it's been ruined by all the people who use it for things as innocuous as forgetting a phone number. Facepalm is annoying now for the same reasons.

i hate when people type a bunch of letters at the end of the word for emphasis or expression when you aren't even able to pronounce it. Example:
"Oh my Godddddddddd!!"
I realize you can't really say "Oh my Gooooooood!!" because some people might read it as "good", but for some reason this irritates me even though everyone just reads the word for what it is.
At least its only certain words, since vowels can be spammed in most words without sounding dumb *shrugs*
