Recently I have been getting a really weird computer problem that in my opinion completly defies logic. Basicaly what happens is that occaionally my monitor will go black even tho it is on it acts as if it is not even conected to the computer. So what I do is I turn the computer off from that back of the computer, and then restart it.
I then get 1 long beep followed by 2 short beeps, which indicates a video hardware failure. First time this happened I got so frustrated that I just kicked the computer, and magically it worked. Now when ever it happens I need to turn the computer onto its side and then start it, or else I will get the beep code above. Is there anyway to fix this, and can someone explain how this even works?

looks like something is loose inside the computer, take the case off and check for loose parts.

Have you considered reseating your video card and checking all the cables, especially after discovering that kicking it like some fucking neanderthal moron actually temporarily remedied your problem. Use your brain

This. If you cant figure out that you should reseat your video card, maybe you aren't qualified to own a computer.

Might have fried your video card, events similar to these happened when my card fried.

I really have no idea man. Try checking the cable that link your monitor to the computer togehter with the power cable. There might be something wrong with either the cables or the monitor itself.
Also, check to see if your video card is attached corectly to the motherboard, in some cases the video cards magically move a bit out of the socket and you need to make sure they're attacked properly.

This happened to me once.
I used to play games with the computer on the floor and the case cover off...for um, ventilation. Or something. After this problem started, I took out my video card to see if there was something wrong, and it was covered with a TON of ramen. I mean coated in it. The stuff had obviously dried and left a layer of salt and who knows what else all over the PCB.
Apparently I'd spilled something I was eating the night before while heavily intoxicated.
So, protip: Check your video card for ramen.

def. a case ramen on the video card.

I guess I should have mentioned that this is a brand new top of the line computer, I would say it is only about 3 weeks old.

send it to the company for fixing....

I always had problems with my computer when going to a LAN because of my driving style or car or smth. I bet something is not seated right because of vibrations from transport. So check all connectors, push the video card and RAM into the sockets etc.

Sounds like your video card is freaking out and maybe overheating. If it's still under warranty I'd send it in as faulty.

Sounds very, VERY similar to my fast comp. Don't know the main reason though, I threw it away and didn't fix it :3
