A mutual friend of mine recently got a job at a local liquor store. He works in the evening hours. Lately I just have this urge to stop by with a ski mask and my little brother's cap gun just to say hello. I had envisioned what would happen. He would bring out a baseball bat. I know he has a baseball bat under the counter because I had asked him what would happen if he gets rob. Baseball bat versus firearm...I don't know how that would work in a real robbery. Or he hits a secret panic button after he hands me the loot and I'll end up doing 10-15 for armed robbery before pulling off my mask to identify myself. Worse to come, I might stop by at a bad time when his manager drops by to check up on things, who knows he might be carrying a gun then and allows me to eat lead. All of these possibilities and I still want to do it. The question is, should I do it?, after confirming if he really has access to a panic button of course.

Definitely go for it. I mean, Id be ripshit if I were your friend and you did it to me, and I wouldn ever do that to my friends, but since I dont know you nor your friends, go for it!
It could end up being pretty funny if this friend of yours is really laid back. He might not even care if he gets robbed, might just hand over the money and say 'whatever'.

Completely stupid idea.

I've done pretty severe pranks before just like those collegehumor boys, but in reality this one could really backfire even though you meant no harm.

You would deserve to get shot.

Even if their was no 'intention' of robbing the place the cops could arrest you on several accounts of mischief, etc. You could wind up with a criminal record.

I have this planned for April Fools Day, The worse that can happen is I'd end up on some TV show dubbed "April Fools Goes Wrong". When I do this it will take hardcore planning. I will probably let the manager in on it and make sure he is on scene. Probably have the manager make my friend stay after hours to clean up and I'll go in and Rambo the battlefield. After hours is probably the safest as there is no witness/bystanders.

You're just getting in to problems if you go throught doing that, how are you going to explain its a joke if there happens to be a guard/police/any customers and their reaction how are you going to handle those situations?

"I was just joking lolz" does not seem like a very good way out of that situation.

Like I said, it is a local liquor store so I happen to know the owner/manager personally. I was the one that referred my friend to the position because I got him fired from his job at a mall. Kept getting freebies from him and his boss suspected him of stealing. Now I haven't seen what could go wrong as it will happen during after closing and disable a panic button if they have one. It just depends on if I want to plead not guilty for reason of insanity or just think of another joke to play on him.

i'm worried this could end quite bad for you.

Incase he presses a alarm button under the table or something ur serioulsy fucked.
Most of the times, police will come immediately(they get msged automatically when someone hits the button) and you end up paying for the police to come to the store.
(btw somebody can tell me the english word for that? if the police gets called and has to come)

At least carry a chainsaw or something instead of something that resembles firearm, I'd still suggest to not do it.
