what do you think Im just applying his logic to another situation, not simply when it seems to suit his naive sense of justice in the world, and if karma only applies to certain situations you might as well call karma for what it really is: coincidence.

This sucks that your friend got robbed like this, I guess he'll be a lot more cautious when answering the door in future..

A very good point, I have a friend who is honestly the nicest kid anybody ever could know, he's also always tried his hardest for everything, and about 2 years ago he got jumped by about 6 guys when he was walking to the drug store to buy some milk. Karma is as frits says mere coincidence. Nuada I am deeply sorry to hear about what happened to your friend and especially that there is nothing you can do to help. I hope your friend and his cousin have a hasty recovery.

![]() I've been robbed before so I know how devastating the outcome can be, but this wasn't just a break-in if they forced their way in, and it sounds sounds brutal. Wish you guys luck.

she'd always tell the violins they have "russian" blood in them because they'd play too fast

Wonder why they rang the doorbell though. If they were really going all Rambo wouldn't it have been better to break a window or something >_>

I assumed their phones were taken. They don't have a lan-line, only cells. I stayed up until about 8 am last night waiting to see if he'd get back online, when I woke up (about 5 minutes ago) I tried calling him. I got a message saying the phone had been disconnected or the number was changed, so the phones were definitely taken. He's used the same number for almost 8 years. I know someone whose older brother was a pizza delivery guy and he held up one of his customers and put a gun to their head then tied them up and left them in the closet, soooo yeah.... even pizza guys can't be trusted. ![]()
