Shake has now upgraded to i7. New Parts: MSI X58 Platinum SLI Motherboard Intel Core i7 920 3 x 2 GB OCZ Gold DDR3-1333 Corsair 750w PSU Old Parts: STILL USING THESE TOO, NOT REPLACING EVGA 9600GT 2 x 400GB WD Caviar HDs in Raid0 1TB Hitachi Deskstar HD Very satisfied with the performance, a big upgrade from that AMD dual core I was using previously. Later I'm considering crossfiring a pair of 4870s, which is why I chose a power supply at that size. Plus it was on sale. I use the raid 0 drives for basically just programs and the os, I have everything else backed up anyway, and have yet to have a drive fail on me. | ||

Lol raid my motto is 1 is always better then two which explains my GTX285 and raptor hdd. raid is silly esp at current hdd's sizes. I haven't used SSD yet because i'm afraid ill burn though a mlc in like a week then cry. Hope the rest of your build goes well. | ||
