So I'm a really huge fan of a country-pop singer named Taylor Swift. Her voice, beauty, grace, and words are simply perfect. She going on tour for 6 months, with one of the stops in the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia PA. I live 10 minute drive away, but the tickets solds out in 10-15 minutes. Of course there's eBay tickets that range from 250-400 dollars. I know there's going to be future TS concerts but this one feels like i must attend.
Which brings me to the question how much are you guys willing pay for a concert/game tickets that you want to see extremely badly? My best friends father spent 500 on Game5 of the World Series to stand up the whole time, but said it was worth it whether the Phillies were crowned Champs or not.

150bux
but then again my favourite artists mostly are underground n cheap to see
Haha taylor swift, yeah she's pretty and a good singer.
Romeo, save me, I don't wanna be alone I love you and thats all I really know I talked to your dad, said go buy a white dress It's a love story baby just say yes

maybe max ~40 dollars australian.
i think its like 65 dollars for a morbid angel ticket for their concert, but personally i wouldnt pay any more than 20 to see them lol. actually i wouldnt go at all even if it was free
a few of my friends spend like 90-100 bucks on tickets to really shit acts like linkin park, but 250 bucks for an ebay ticket sounds outrageous to me
Most I've ever spent was $85 to see Radiohead.
I wouldn't spend over $50 on most other artists though. $30-$40 is pretty average for a decently popular band here in nyc
i would never pay that much. i think my max would be 150 or so
It reallllly depends on the show. I would pay like 200 bucks to see my top 5 bands play my favorite songs.
i'm spending 130 euro to go to Primavera festival in Spain this Summer ( 26 of May).
I spent 500$ on 3days pass at Coachella music festival on Ebay + another 100$ for camp tickets. And I would easily go several k$ for that again, however for a single concert I am not sure, all depends on how much you like the music and how cheap you are. I would have no problem spending 300-400$ on a concert if it was something I REALLY wanted too see.
spent 70$ to see radiohead last summer, but made up the money from scalping other tickets.
this summer:
10$ to see no doubt, 55 for coldplay, and 55 for depeche mode.

Theres going to be future TS concerts.
No really, there will be future TS concerts, that's by far most important.
I would spend MAX 125 dollars for someone I wanted to see unless it was something like Coachella, in which case I would be willing to spend upwards of 1000 for no problem.
For a single concert it really isn't worth 250-400 imo, up to you in the end though.
For a single concert? I'd top out at about $200 if it was The Tangent. But seriously, tickets to NEARFest run $170-200, and that's three days and ten bands. $250 for one person is borderline insane.
dude i love taylor swift. I would pay like $300 for her ticket.

Cuz I'm not your princess, This aint a fairy tale I'm gonna find someone someday who might actually treat me well, this is a big world, that was a small town, there in my rearview mirror disappeared me now, and now its too late

jesus I could go to like 3 summer music festivals at that price and see like 50 artists that I'd like to see. If it's a concert with only one artist that I'm really interested in I'm not going to spend any more than like $80.
I'm spending $125 this year on Korean Music Festival >_< I had intended to get $150 seats but the website was overloaded with Korean fangirls and kept timing out, and then the $150 and $200 seats were sold out within 10 minutes. $150 is probably the most I would spend on a concert though
I might pay $200 if it was a band I really wanted to see and would never get the chance to again. Otherwise withing the $50-$125 range.
i paid $300 for 3 day pass to coachella x 2 tickets plus $100 for camping fees. I attended Coachella in 2007,2008 and im going this year also. I'd probably pay up to $600 for 3 day passes if I hadn't already bought tickets and I was desperate.
I wouldn't give more than 100$ regularly. In the special case of original lineup of Sabbath like 2004 (where I paid ~60$), I could have spent up to 200$ if I had to, no more than that though

I would pay up to $200 for Muse tickets...

Im in edmonton, and I heard on the radio today that The Jonas brothers are coming, and floor seat tickets are going for $1,100 EACH!! WTF!!!!
Apparently, they sold tickets at other venues for $4,500 for front row seats / floor seats...Thats fucking unbelievable.

probably 50 bucks for a 3-4 hour concert. An all weekend music festival would be an obvious exception.
I paid 90 to see Metallica and I really felt like shit about it.

hmm... 10, maybe 15... id rather just have the CD and jam out to it...
i would pay $600 for a weekend of phish ez
i spent about 180 seeing ratm at the rock the bells 08'
Well, it depends on the bands, but I would pay like $80 to see Kreator with Destruction, Exumer, and Exodus. Shame it probably won't happen.
Anything over $100 that isn't a festival (Wacken, Hellfest) really isn't worth it to me.
I spend max like $75 on my very favourite bands but wouldn't expect to go over $50-60 for anyone else.
I'm gonna go with about 150 dollars. About as much as a basketball game with nonshitty but decent seats so yeah I'd pay the same amount i'd pay to see a basketball game

Concerts here are pretty reasonable depending upon which band/singers you want to see. I went to Big Bang's 2007 December concerts for $55 per night with pretty awesome seats and a tonne of freebies.

Normally I wouldn't pay more than $50.
I don't like going to big outdoor festivals anymore...I prefer smaller venues.
The most I've paid for a concert ticket myself was like $60 for a Dream Theater show. I think the most expensive one I've been to was some opera for like $80? But I didn't pay...lol.

Issit because ALOT of TL members listen to metal bands?

100€ (130$) max i guess..
Happily paid 50€ (65$) for Rage Against The Machine last summer .
100 dollars, maybe up to 300 if I was traveling for it. although, I usually don't go to concerts that cost more than 30 dollars.
If they're going to play again in the future then I personally wouldn't spend that much money to see them, but if it's like their last time they will play there then i def would, example ACDC concert soon, i can't remember the exact price, but it's my Dads favourite band of all time, and he spent a TONNE on those, mainly because they're getting older now and the chance they're gonna play many more times is slim.
tldr; Go see them/her if you want too that much,
