Megavideo doesn't work on my firefox. It use to work, until a couple days ago ( I don't think I did anything, it just stopped working.) Usually when I load up a video, there's that 'play' button. Now, it's just a blank black screen.

I have flash player, javascript enabled, and it still doesn't work.

The odd thing is that it works on my internet explorer.

Whats wrong?

I'm on 3.0.6 that's most recent I believe.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and say firefox doesn't suck, it's probably you.

Nothing personal, but anyone that thinks internet explorer is better than firefox is an enemy of mine.

Try updating flash.

I know in the past there have been some issues with megavideo and FF, but there shouldn't be with Flash 10.

There is always the option of switching to google chrome. But I'm a firefox lover.

I'm using FF, and megavideo works fine.

The only qualm I have is the 72 minute time limit on watching videos. Seriously, what the fuck megavideo.

Google Chrome is currently best, i was on FF before, but i know a better browser when i see one!

Chrome has issues too, but I use both depending on the need. Honestly, I still need to use IE every once in a while because the others can be horribly slow with pdfs. :/

chrome manages to leak more memory than firefox. it's quite a feat. sometimes i just look at the task manager in awe

i'm still holding out for a lightweight browser.. i thought chrome would be the answer, but nope.

Off By One is probably the most "lightweight" browser in terms of memory usage and features. Sadly it's missing a lot of features that I.E. or Firefox would normally have.
Task Manager says it's using about 6,500 K memory.

I'm happy with Firefox though, can't live without all of these silly add-ons.

Reinstall FF and all the popular plug-ins, especially flash. You could try clearing cookies and cache, though I doubt that will do anything. Just try everything, and start from scratch, but new scratch. Good luck.
