I don't know why but here in Houston there's a crapload of people that like to act gangster and pretend they're part of a gang, thus the term "gangsta" or more like "g@ng$t@" is frequently used. They pretend to be from the streets even though they haven't even seen the sidewalk.

Seems like including music videos wasn't of any good as it portrays more of a general view towards the habits of those entities.
I made this blog because I have a friend who for some unknown reason moved on from being a studious/shy person to becoming a gangster of some sort who only listens to rap and gets 1029381902x more girls than I do now when I was the one who suppossedly taught him how to get them and is now rubbing it in my face.
Try listening to the eminem video you posted. He's not a gansta rapper... In fact the lyrics even mention annoying as hell people that say hes 'acting black'
Also, a lot of hispanics are in gangs. Being a "gangsta" doesnt mean you are acting black.
Crown J grew up in that neighborhood (Atlanta first, then LA ) and really talks like that when he speaks English. Aside from his Korean which is a much softer tone.

And also, the place where I live is full of people trying to act all 'gangsta' and looking for trouble where it isn't the case, but I believe these types of social sheep are called hypocrites and the world abounds of them, sadly. They do not "act black", even if some of their models are the images African American rappers show off on MTV. They are just plain dumb, immature, and lack a proper identity/character.
As you grow old I've noticed experiences with aforementioned people tend to grow rare, which is why they aren't really concerning me anymore

Blame MTV/BET/Mainstream Music. The reason people say "act black" is because the imagery setup by the labels promoting completely no talent crap sounding individuals (its not music, and i'm big into rap. just underground. you know, where it has culture, purpose and message) They show them being stars and having ice, people want to buy into that so they adopt their personalities. They're so fake it's disgusting and annoying, I really despise the culture that has spawned from it.
I used to live in L.A. in the real ghetto parts where that sort of attitude/personality was more justified. People got killed frequently. Glad my family moved away from that.
