A) McDonald's waits for a pork surplus / cheaper prices which happens on average, once a year. B) There isn't enough pork in the US to sustain the demand all year long.

I like their big macs, angus burgers and cheeseburgers, though. Everything else on their menu is kinda iffy, however. Oh, and their iced coffees are bomb.

But does anyone else remember how years ago they changed the way they made their fries because apparently they had a chance of giving you cancer? IMO I thought they tasted way better back then, and I've always been waiting for them to give you the choice of "Cancerous, but tasty" fries and "Non-cancerous, but soggy and shitty" fries on the menu. I'd live dangerously.

In my opinion it tastes alright (especially for the cost). In addition, I doubt very much that it is anymore unhygienic/unhealthy than all the other fast (or even some non-fast) foods out there. ugh The repletion/money ratio is terrible! One may want to argue about the taste, although if you grew up eating quality food you shouldn't like it too much. Personally I'd rather eat nothing (unless it was to avoid starvation or at least undernourishment) than eat there.

Usually, the mcdonalds is much easier to find than the local burger joint. Lots of people prefer something familiar as well, as opposed to food that they don't really know.

Only fast food I eat these days. Once every couple of months maybe is a whopper meal from Hungry Jacks/Burger King, all the sugar in the mayonnaise and bread puts me into a soothing drugged state of utopia, the diarrhea afterwards isn't pleasant.
