Also, with regards to APM, I think part of my problem is that I just don't know what I "should" be doing. I don't want to make this into a debate over if it is important, or what is the best way to raise it, I just want to know, what actions people do to raise it that high?? I don't know zerg too well, but many of the actions are devoted to using larva up as fast as possible, which means alot of 4sd5sd6sd 4sh5sh6sh etc to build either drones or units. Another large contrbutor is army management, which is important since one of the zerg's strengths is their mobility and they need to constantly hotkey more units etc etc cause they have so many units and units die really quick too.

APM will grow when you start knowing what needs to be done. Double clicking your first production building, and going thru them all building your units alone will bring your apm up to at least 130. Add some decent micro while your doing this and you're at 150-200.

I gotta say, I was laughing reading the first few lines because you correctly predicted that I did indeed do a double take upon glancing at your stats. I am glad I made you laugh I am basically the worst player I know though (besides my next door neighbour - who doesn't count). I have two friends ranked around C (1 Terran, 1 Protoss). They try to help but I just don't get better.

how many games of pro SC, in their entirety, do you watch as a ratio to how many games you play? and, why do your stats not even add up properly, did you play a couple games offrace? cause if you did, then that would mean you are 5 - 1 offrace if you just added wrong or something, then you just added another loss to your -vs Math- matchup no but seriously i think you should watch, pay more attention to, and understand better the VODs of pros playing getting a personal coach, or maybe a couple personal coaches, would also be a good idea

I watch a lot of vods/tutorial videos (Chill, Ahzz mainly). I don't have a ratio as such, but the point is I don't just rush in, I do study good players.

I know he was playing hard, too, cause he had 270 apm. APM will grow when you start knowing what needs to be done.
