My right bottom WT and the two upper ones was removed with 7 injections in the gums. I didn't feel anything after that. My left bottom WT was removed years before and the painblock was one big freakin injection in the carteledge in the ''roof'' above my tongue. The seringe going in was nasty and made a crack noise when it went in. I prefer feeling 7 injections going in the gumms over 1 big needle in the 'roof. i thing it was necesary because the bottom left one was lodged very well and needed to be chisseled out. I think the churgeon sedated a central nerve fot the whole area. I got a minor infection bottom right after the extraction. Inbuprofen wasn't strong enough to kill the pain. It kept me awake a few nights.

The pain was about the equivalent of getting braces tightened from what I remember. probably a little worse Lol wtf thats incredibly mild compared to when I got mine out. It was fairly painful but nothing thats awful. Worst part by far was the pain killer they give you during the operation. It made me really sick and I threw up about five times on the day after my operation. Couldn't really eat anything including just liquidy stuff. You'll be out for a few days, so you can like troll on TL or something, or make a girl blog.

It wasn't so bad- the worst is that it's scheduled pain, so that you never get to miss anything bad- you only get to miss the fun stuff.

When the anesthetic wears off your mouth will start hurting and you'll have to take pain killers or else it will bug the crap out of you. All in all there's nothing to worry about.

But from what I gather, the pain and recovery process varies from person to person. Generally, just expect a good amount of pain for a week and serious swelling for one to two weeks. Have someone take care of you and make nice soft food. no need to be nervous, gl hf

although the post-surgery did not feel bad at all was prescribed 25 T3 pills, and told to come back for more when it was empty, but i used like 3 pills only lol the coolest part was when the doc gave me this syringe like thing, to squirt water into the gaping hole to flush out food. fun as hell. like a toilet in your mouth.

Spent a couple days with the packing in, but then we were going on vacation to Hawaii, so they took it out. about halfway through the trip the pain came back, but I didn't have any more hydrocodone, so I ended up taking 800 mg of ibuprofen (four pills, every six hours). Eventually, my parents decided I needed to see a doctor, and we managed to find one who specialized in tourists, which was really convenient. We figured it was an infection, and he agreed, so he prescribed amoxicillin (which is an antibiotic, btw) and Vicodin for the pain. When I got back to the hotel, I took an amoxicillin, and immediately, the pain went away. I'm pretty sure it was an infection. I only ended up taking like two vicodin. Yeah. Hope it goes smoothly for you!
