It's funny, I don't really want it because I'll be able to try all the stuff out and report bugs. I want it so I can get a head start against everyone else. lol.

They should only give it to players of high skill that actually want to beta test because they really care about SC2. Not to have fun and not get a head start. Now we have WoW noobs beta testing the game while the potential best beta testers out there don't have a key. Is going to damage the game for sure. People paying like 500 dollars, wtf. You expect you can get return on that investment by winning money in SC2 tournaments?

You expect you can get return on that investment by winning money in SC2 tournaments? This is asinine. People pay way more for much smaller amounts of fun and satisfaction. People not only want to play, they want to be a part of the balancing process. This just just a crappy, narrow-minded post. It's not like blizzard can check everyone's iccup rank before allowing them into beta. Good advice is still good advice, nomatter who it comes from. I'm sure some players will give terrible feedback, and some will give great feedback. It's all part of the process.

This is true, any game where you're having beta testers who aren't followers of the game will go down the wrong track. You need to get people who play the game enough to know what to look for not people who play a MMORPG (100x different from RTS) BLIZZARD LEARN TO BETA.

People pay way more for much smaller amounts of fun and satisfaction. You mean Richard Garrioth paying to go into space? lol did I ever deny it? Doesn't matter it's a waste of money and he can only do it because he has so much to waste. Really, I don't really blame those people. Just the system.

You expect you can get return on that investment by winning money in SC2 tournaments? Who said I wanted a return on my investment? What about people that pay $500 for a pair of sunglasses, or shoes? My return would be the experience of beta testing the game, and providing input, as well as enjoyment from the very moment SC2 became public. Whats $500 for 3 months of SC2 history?
