And I used to skate but I stopped anyways: I was trying to figure out how to do a simple trick that I used to be able to do quite easily, and I kept fucking up, "WOE is me right?" Well...I started to think about like why I am not landing it, and what things "mechanically" I could work on to land the trick, and it led me into this progressive thinking that I never had before when I skated and I was able to pick up several new tricks in a day...and I think I have aquired this brand of thinking from SC. I have learned to think this way and ask myself the right questions from watching replays and trying to figure out why i lost etc... So thank you SC for contributing to the Logic and reasoning part of my brain ![]() I know what you mean, Sc improves problem-solving, multitasking and just general logical thinking. Your general IQ actually improves, which is kinda rare for a computer-game (relatively speaking). For instance I tried out this test for the swedish army, the officer-test, which basically works like an IQ-test except with a multitasking part. I got around top scores on the IQ-parts, failed a bit on the memory (BO-practice not quite kicking in yet ^^) and then I got to multitasking. Thing is it worked exactly like Sc. You controlled different things on the screen with A: your mouse B: numbers (hotkeys) and at the same time you had to solve problems (simple math). Needless to say, for an experienced Sc-player it was easy as hell. I played it on for well over 5 minutes after the highest possible score had been reached. Although this test was kind of stupid (it was an online test for the army duh) it just shows you how much you can win by just doing what you like, play SC! | ||
