This is my girlfriend.
Her name is Anh.
She is Asian (Vietnamese).
She is very shy and sheltered, but I'm slowly changing that and exposing her to things she has never done before.
She looks like she is 12, which makes me a pedophile, but she is really 19 (20 soon).
We met through StarCraft, but live 5 minutes from each other (been roughly 7 months now).
We play StarCraft together, but she makes us lose all the time on BGH (she is a fastest player).
We do it bareback all the time (almost got her preggers a few times).
That is my girlfriend.
We met up in real life back in February just to go buy me a new hamster to replace my hold one. Hung out a few times and I never had the intention of taking her serioes. Officially started dating in March.
Now what is the point of this? Nothing really. Just that it is possible to find love in the most random places with the most random people. I've dated many girls before her, some for 2-3 years each, but there is just something different about Anh. Maybe it is her share for the love of the game that is StarCraft, maybe it is her down-to-earth care-free nature, maybe it's her willingness to go above and beyond for me. Whatever it is, she has me sold for the rest of my life.
We're extremely happy together and have no real problems aside from the fact that she gets jealous sometimes and thinks I'm a big whore.

Haha, I've actually known a few people that did that. Don't know about them anymore, but I heard one flew from Washington to Canada to see the other.

Haha, that sounds cool. She doesn't play non-money though, but I'm sure she'd tag along to make fun of me losing. I've actually been going to La Jolla shores, Del Mar, and Torrey Pines a lot lately for body boarding and learning how to surf. Going there again in 30 minutes actually.

Only some of us ever play... it's usually to watch the finals of one of the leagues and to just hang out, eat and drink with other people who have a passion for Starcraft.

It is great to play with someone especially your girlfriend. I remember the days when me and my girlfriend was playing Dota.. Things are a bit different in Vietnam ^^. Quite many of Vietnamese girls get addicted by esport, in particular SC, dozens of them look pretty, some of them play fastest or BGH map but very very few of them are shy and sheltered cause they are exposed very aggressive like going 4 pool in every matchup

Good luck to you, too. Long distance never worked for me. My girlfriend of 3 years was my high school sweetheart and when we parted ways to college (her to UCSB, me to CSUP, which is 1.5 hours apart) we decided to just end it because it wouldn't work.

Just wanted to add (meant to before but got sidetracked): PLEASE! Do not have an unwanted pregnancy! Don't have sex without some form of birthcontrol unless you really want to make a new life. It may seem fun or adventurous somehow to take these risks (the way you mentioned it in the OP came off this way, as if it were a joke), but it is serious business. If you aren't prepared, having a kid can really screw you up in terms of finances, quality of your romantic relationship, career, etc. Those are the selfish reasons not to have a kid unless you really want one. The unselfish reason is that this world is ALREADY OVERPOPULATED.
To be totally clear: nothing you can do will be as good for the environment as not having children. I'm not so bold as to tell you not to ever have children (though I would encourage child-freedom for all), but I will certainly tell you that I think it is a horrible idea to have a child unless you and your partner both want one and are ready for one.
Use protection. In my own case, for many reasons, among them over-population, I had myself sterilized via vasectomy back in June. I did an entry on my blog purely about that, and you are more than welcome to read it.
I'm presently in a sexual relationship - as of a week ago - and we only - ONLY - have sex bareback. It is very....very nice! My longest lasting relationship took place before I was sterilized, but my girlfriend at that time was sterilized, and we only ever had bareback sex, and it was very, VERY nice!
Bottom line, don't make babies unless you really want to raise them and are prepared to deal with the responsibility. Even then, I encourage you to give it serious thought!
