So I came home from the mall with my almost 2 year old son to find cops in front of my house.Someone had broke into our house,kicked in the back door shattering the door frame and bending our metal door.Wtf!! my 80 gig ipod classic,barracuda head phones,digital camera,camcorder,all our dvds,my daughters laptop,all the christmas presents for my son and daughter and family members.$200 dollars worth of thomas the train stuff for my son and other things as well as trashing the place in the process.(yes those items were stolen)
Im so pissed,also the home owners insurance makes us pay for the first 500 dollars of the items cost but still.Luckily all the animals 3 cats and 1 dog were able to be found.It really sucks that someone would do this to anyone.
Just wanted to rant about ti a bit we now have a back door thats ghetto blocked by wood untill we can get someone out to replace the door and get a steel frame this time.
Ohh and also what sucks is my wcg backpack i got from Wcg world finals in seattle was,it seems ,used to help store the goods they took from the house so i dont have that anymore either.The backpack,oddly enough,pisses me off more because i cant find another one i can get my ipod etc agian luckily it looks like our neighbor may have scared them while they were disconecting my comp(many things were unpluged and my moniater had been moved.

That fucking sucks man, some complete bastards in this world. My friends car was smashed last night and his stereo and some other stuff were stolen too

i've had so many people i know in real life have this happen to them. I'm just glad it never happened to me. BTW if you ever find them, tie them up and give me a call, and i'll fly to wherever you are and give a good beating.

Yes all those items did get stolen.
I am pissed but really all those items can and will be replaced,I couldnt find 2 of my cats for a few hours so once i found them I was much more relived.Home onwers are gonna pay for alot of this stuff and well some of the stuff was old and cant be gotten so ill just have to get a newer more expensive laptop for my daughter and i cant remeber if it was a ps3 or a ps2 that was stolen lol im joking.
The only other thing besides the WCG gear that was stolen was a video of my son learning to walk and random bits of him that wont be able to be replaced the video was in the camcorder at the time.
Karma mother fuc#ers it WILL get them.

well when I was visiting USA too, our place got rob too (my sisters house), though we got shitload of money back from 2 laptops (got those free from somebody and those were so shitty). Lost like PS3, PSP, 2 shit laptops, scarf from finland (gives more value), backpack, dvd drive and around 5-7 console games. After PS3 which we bought again 100 refund offer but got 100 profit there and 2 laptops totalled around 1800 dollars so...

dude i feel your anger. my house got broken into when i was a little kid. i walked in and cried. just remember everything that was important was in your arms the whole time. besides homeowners insurance should hold you down.

Yeah my daughter was very very upset.Tears were flowing she kept saying she dosent feel safe,and she want s to move now.

My family has been visited by thiefs like 3 times now, none of those times the computer was stolen, only my dad's music equipment and the video camera.
I hope you get your things back altough is almost impossible.

i remember like over 8 years ago when i went to montreal from toronto, we parked outside to go into a restaurant, and when we came out, the rear right window of our jeep grand cherokee was busted, and the two things that were in that specific spot was my old man's business laptop, and my yu-gi-oh case with 300 cards were stolen lol
yes... i played yu-gi-oh back then.... shamefully admitting....

my aunt once owned an apartment.
the third floor residents were having the second floor residents over for some sort of a party (i.e. smoking weed). Anyways a bunch of thugs somehow got inside the building and went to that floor and robbed the third floor residents. Then, the residents sued her for not having proper security measures.
The catch is, the 2nd floor residents, whom lost nothing, were suing, while the third floor ones were keeping quiet (i.e. illegal activity)
the insurance company initially tried to settle and they refused b/c they thought they were going to win $1 million dollars
needless to say they lost and a victory went to common sense.

I feel for you Fudd, 2 neighbors of mine recently got robbed. Both within about 3 weeks. We decided not to take our chances and got a Brinks security system for our entire house with motion detectors and the like.

I've had the same thing happen to me, but I was a little younger, thus impacting me alot harder.
I lost my brand new PC right when HL2 came out (This is enough for immediate castration in my books) and they took my Playstation 2 and all the games. I was one depressed little kid for like a month.
Those assholes will get what they deserve one day man, just live your life.

Thanks for the kind words.We are trying to figure out whas the best mesures we can take to prevent it happening agian.Our animals are safe as are we things will be fine.
Plus homeowners insurance is good.

That fucking sucks man, Sorry for you. The same happened to me 4~5 years years ago the month after christmas. I was little and I had a paper route making a measly 40$ a month so anything I owned was precious to me. I had my Gamecube stolen with all the accessories/games/etc, we had 2 stereo system's stolen, my fucking backpack was stolen, I remember clearly the next day at school when I told the teacher about the incident and my backpack being stolen so I didn't have the work to hand in she didn't believe me and just to be a fucking cunt told the class my excuse to why my homework wasn't done. I was so fucking close to getting her fired or something. We had DVD's, our computer, jewelery, everything stolen. Shit was everywhere, and I must honestly say I couldn't stop crying for a day or two. I was scared as fuck to even sleep in the house anymore. It was simply the worst day of my life and still is. The shitty thing is we know who did it but because it was a bunch of teens they were 'minorities' and fuck all happened to them. Eventually the cops raided the place to find some other stolen shit in their house but they had already sold our families stuff so we didn't get shit all for retribution or our stuff back. Just thinking about it kills me, I felt like committing suicide that day just because how I felt. All I can say it I know how you feel man, it really sucks, I'm sorry for you.
EDIT: No home owner's insurance either because we were too poor and still are, anything we owned meant so much so us and we were/are already in debt as it is which made it so devastating. I just wanna take that 5 minute walk over to that kids house and fucking snap his neck.

On a real note, get a full blown security system so that if the place is broken into, a phone call is made to your house, if you dont pick up cops are sent to your house, if the robber picks up and fails to give a correct password or the like, cops are sent. Sucks you got robbed man, my moms almost got robbed a few times a few years back.(someone had been breaking into a bunch of houses in the neighbourhood) so since she was afraid i came home and stayed there for a week, staying up till like 4-5ish(3-4 were reported break in times) and i kept all the lights off and a bat across my legs as i watched tv, saw a flashlight in our backyard, and turned the tv off and just sat there in dark, as he got up on the back door i fucking opened and rushed him, chasing him down the street for 3 blocks. She hasn't had issues with robbers since, although the rest of the neighbourhood hasn't been so lucky.

Got the initial hit when i went flying through the door, aside from that no, i just scared the shit out of him by slamming the bat into things beside him, he ended up booking it over the highway and into bushland, so i went home, but still, scaring a thief to death is priceless. Whenever i hear of mass breakin's though i always sleep with a weapon, just in case.

I just kept a knife in a sheath in the bed with me, quickly draw it and knife if need be, as well as having a bo resting up against my desk, which conviniently was hidden if my door was opened. Scare em shitless once and they dont come back, simple rule.

Jeez, I feel so fortunate to live where I do where things like this are practically unheard of. I may come from a middle class family and all, but everything we own is really special to us as we keep things for a long time so I get attached. I can't even begin to imagine the torrent of emotions that would come if a robbery occurred.
My deepest condolences to everyone that hasn't been so fortunate. I can only hope that the people that do these kinds of heartless acts some day get what's coming to them 100 fold. Preferably in the most painful and brutal possible fashion.
