Last time I blogged about my first day of learning manual transmission. I've spent Thursday, Friday, and today at my cousin's house to practice even more. Now I can finally drive the car without severe jerks and stalling! After registering it at the DMV and getting insurance on it today, I drove it home from my cousin's house and decided to take some pictures of it.

Does anyone know a good product to restore the shine of carbon fiber? The carbon fiber on my car seems a little dead haha.

Very nice car man. But I personally don't like the look of carbon. I'm more of the single colour sleek look fan.

Yeah I think the spoiler is a little low but I have no thoughts of changing it yet.

Are you on that free gas thing micronesia? I don't know, putting sticker/magnet advertisements on a car seems a bit weird haha.

If you have an extremely boring but mostly flawless car, then maybe? Would be funny to sign up for the biggest one, get spot checked as wearing them... then never wear them again. How long until they noticed? :p

ahh dope! i got a 97 prelude. looks like u got the SH? that's the one i wanted too.. but when i bought my car, it was out of my price range. what year is the lude? from the looks of the picture, 1. the paint looks to be in great shape. 2. repainted.

all too often i see people leave swirl marks after washing their cars, and milano red shows everything !

i too got a cf hood too! do not put regular car wax on that thing.. it'll make it worse. you gotta go find some 3M boat wax stuff. restorer? something like that. it cost like $15 a bottle.. that works best..(but it depends on the amount of oxidation.. because mine is just too far gone and the restorer isn't working as great as it did years ago).

I wonder how they even check if you still have those advertisements on haha. Kind of creepy actually if they stalk you or something, just to check if you still got the advertisements on..

Mine's a 97 Prelude too D:! I don't know if it's a SH or not, but I do know that it was repainted.

Thanks for the tip, I'll look into the 3M boat wax.

you should really double check if its a SH or not...if you are looking to mod the car, the SH system will interfere with the mods. the only reason i say it looks like an SH is because of the rims, but they could've been changed out.

i believe their should be a light in the dash that says ATTS (probably not lit up.. only when the system is messed up or something *i forget*). but other than that, the SH is a nice car stock!

Usually, you would do a re-clearing coat on the carbon fiber parts in order to make it look brand new again, but it takes hours so i wouldn't suggest doing it. If possible, find a shop to do it for you even though its gonna cost you $$$.
