this guide is so disappointingly full of fail you select the data first, and then you click insert graph saves you at least 3 seconds none of fiddling with data sources uselessness man, I kinda feel bad for you actually since you've wasted so much of your life doing it wrong | ||

The method I use is good if you are planning on doing a lot of data etc and doesn't take long anyway. i.e. more versatile edit: btw funny, I think | ||

And if you're making a basic Excel chart-making guide, I doubt their data is going to be complicated enough anyway =P I think the demographic here is smart, computer savvy people who can figure out excel once we get them started, but haven't made graphs in it before... using my guide, theoretically, they have what they need to develop their knowledge into a full understanding of the graphing tools pretty easily. Your shortcut is more suitable for those who are pretty bad at this kind of stuff to begin with, and just need a solution to their simple problem and nothing more. Oh well; either works. | ||
