I'm doing some training but I don't have access to a gym so I'm doing it at home.
Problem is I never trained so I don't know lots of possible exercises so right now I'm just doing some set ups, push-ups, things like that. any idea on other possible exercices doable at home with little to no equipments?
I don't need any cardio or legs exercices since I'm already doing alot of running/cycling so I just need to train biceps/triceps/pectorals
And if someone knows how much repetition or series of each I must do, it'll be appreciated. like, should I lift 3x15 repetition or just do it once till I'm no more able to lift?
P.S.: don't come with your starcraft jokes and tell me to micro mutalisks so it'll train my arms... lol I shouldn't have said that now evryone will come with a starcraft joke :S
P.s. I think you should do 1 x 15, 1 x 8 and 1x1 (for weight lifting-- increase the weights OF COURSE). That's what I used to do, anyway. Got me buff until I quit.
I was going to write a lot (I swear I was), but then I started to look up for references on youtube. Turns out all you really need is there. If you don't have equiptment that leaves you with body weight stuff: push ups, sit ups, unweighted squats, pull ups, that kind of thing.
Here's drdeath169, and besides having a contrived name, he has lots of videos on working out.
I try to do all of my ab exercises slowly. When I do sit ups, bicycle or normal, I always pause at the top then come down slowly.
Also, most importantly, don't pussy out. Try and finish every workout at failure. Do some sets just past where it starts to burn really bad, and then for the final set go until you can't go anymore. Rest a day an repeat. It's worked great for me
